CNN Commentator Bob Beckel tells Michael Smerconish that he is looking into a controversial letter Donald Trump sent to Princess Diana.
*snip*
"I'm flying to London on Wednesday and by Thursday I might know more."

Caches of Diana's letters and other papers were entrusted to or stolen by various of her aides and servants, with some sold off to various interests and collectors after her death. Because of the risk of controversy and doubt over the legality of ownership, such papers are kept secret and tightly held in Britain, usually in a lawyer's safe.
Whomever is backing Beckel has almost certainly seen a copy of the letter, or may even have seen the original. Beckel is being paid and will get a copy of the letter out to the news media and, having seen the original, will verify it as authentic and make nasty comments against Trump. The story about Beckel flying to London thus is like hearing the orchestra tune up before a concert: what follows will be a live performance, but one that is well-planned and fully rehearsed.
“One thing you’ll never hear Trump say is “I did not have sex with that woman.” That’s because Trump hates to admit he failed at something.”
All right. You owe me a new keyboard. lmao!
I thought Beckel’s near-death experience book said he gave up his deranged ways?
Poor Bob. He must think that would matter to someone other than himself.
"Mein only hope iz un ze birth of zome American born next year un New Jerzee, und we'll all be heiling heem!"
perfection! lol!
well, that does it.
I can’t vote for a man who had a crush on Princess Di.
How can he ever be respected enough to lead the free world?
>>>If true, Trump gains ten points.<<<
Maybe 100 points if it were written to Prince Charles.
If she had hooked up with The Donald, she would be alive today.
What if it showed that Trump was trying to screw around oh whomever was his wife at time? Would that make him more Clintonesque? Would your admiration still go up?
>>>>He’s a billionaire, girls seek him out to give him THEIR number. <<<
I’ll be a billionaire on Monday . . . I’ll let you all know if that is true.
OLD is the operative word there... and IT MAKES NO DIFFERENCE, Bob.. it makes no difference. Do you really think you could be the one to take Trump out? Where have you been, Bob.
Arnold was a married man, to a wife of a VERY connected family.
He's the Governor of California.
And HE IS the Terminator.
If she would have been a 22 year old hotty, people would have been more understanding (not condoning) of the indiscretion. The fact that she wasn't attractive at all makes one say "what the H**L were you thinking?".
It's similar to the flack Clinton took.
PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES.
The most powerful man in the world.
Being indiscrete with the likes of Monica.
But then of course, being married to Hillary would drive anyone to anything.
Why is it that Democrats NEVER have to back down from their human mistakes, but EVERY TIME a Republican screws up, it’s the end?!
WHY?!
Why is JFK the poster boy for the ‘righteous liberal’ when he screwed anything that moved? WHY?
Clinton actually RAPED women, but he doesn’t have to apologize and disappear.
WHY?
Why is it only OUR side that has to pay a price for screwing up?
The man doesn’t drink. The man doesn’t smoke. The man has never done drugs.
He’s admitted that he’s screwed around and screwed up with women and that he’s the cause of the failure of his first two marriages.
But that’s never enough for a Republican.
Only a Democrat gets forgiven and is allowed to push forward.
I’m sick of it!
She was one of the highest paid runway models of her day who posed artfully nude a few times
Like just about every runway model has since the 70s
Next you’ll claim she was a backpages whore or porn girl
Where’s geron these days anyhow?
He/she though Miss USA were whores
One could make a very good business out of setting up credulous, cynical and stupid journalists, manufacturing fake evidence to get them chasing manufactured stories.
So they were both on the market, so to speak. So nice try.
It's somewhat ironic that Diana might be alive today if she went with Trump. Imagine the field day the London tabloids would be having right now if she was Trump's wife today.
I agree with your assessment.
We've had a party that for the last 20 years has played patty cake while the opposition has been throwing punches.
Now, with Trump, when the opposition throws punches, he plays smash mouth.
And why a deceased person?
