Donald Trump is still the top pick for Republicans nationwide, but in Iowa, the billionaire is playing catch up.
More than a third of Republicans nationwide tell a FOX News survey they support Donald Trump's bid for the nomination, but that 35% figure is actually down from last month. Senators Ted Cruz and Marco Rubio follow at 20 and 13%.
Trump dominates the field in New Hampshire as well, leading with 33%. Rubio is second, but well behind at 15%.
But in Iowa, it's Cruz still in control. The Texas Senator led Trump in last month's poll and has increased his lead 27-23, and is the top choice among self described very conservative caucus goers and white Evangelicals.

Yet Trump fans STILL stew in outrage over Megyn Kelly asking Trump some questions at a debate.
They will litigate Cruz eligibilty to be president, they've said so. Don't expect it to go anywhere, but the constitution hasn't been tested regarding this yet.
In the General Election they will hit Cruz hard on his flat tax position. I don't have a problem with a flat tax but the Dems will end up making him look like a kook.
Cruz is calling for the elimination of the Department of Education, Energy, Commerce, Urban Development to name a few. They'll use this to make Cruz out to be the Grinch who stole Christmas.
As much as most of us like Cruz, he'll need to appeal to lot more folks to be President.

I always look at the faces at the gatherings Cruz has...the people there and those he interviews are so comfortable with him...he’s right there WITH them...and they know it..... Warms my heart that these folks are there to hear Cruz...and they show it’s about the issues and what he stands for..... I’m so proud of the entire Cruz team and all who are assisting this good man....I am praying God will see fit to give this nation another chance and do so by taking Cruz all the way to Washington!
P.S....It’s said Cruz has a 10,000-person volunteer force in Iowa. His people go into the field and work for him....not in a stadium.
