New York Attorney General Eric Schniederman is suing Donald Trump and his real estate "university" for defrauding more than 5,000 people of $40 million. "Mr. Trump used his celebrity status and personally appeared in commercials making false promises to convince people to spend tens of thousands of dollars they couldn't afford for lessons they never got," Schniederman says in a release. "No one, no matter how rich or popular they are, has a right to scam hard working New Yorkers. Anyone who does should expect to be held accountable."

Courts ruled it wasn’t fraud;

It’s like buying and reading “The art of the deal” then suing because you didn’t make your money back. Or my daughter suing the university because she’s not making her money back in psychology.
Just because some lawyer and client think it’s fraud don’t make it true.
Talk about fraud...look no further than the GOP.
The NRSC is all over FACEBOOK again today with their presidential poll.

Just be aware that when you vote for Trump you will get emails trying to sell you BOGUS Trump gear and the $$ goes to finance Rubio and Cruz (who used to head the NRSC!)and other senate republicans!
This is the National Republican Senatorial Committee and they are CONNING you to hurt the Trump campaign!
They’ve been doing this for months. http://towncriernews.blogspot.com/2015/09/more-gop-fundraising-on-trump-name-now.html
Don’t move goalposts and throw out stinking red herrings.
“The students wanted full refunds, but Trumpâs legal team argued, and the court agreed, that some representatives of the class had admitted receiving at least some value from the courses.”

This is very serious and casts doubt on the character of Mr. Trump and his feelings for the “little people”.

Mr. Trump will be just fine, win or lose.
>>>Do you have a link to show it was settled and the terms of the settlement?<<<
You Posted the Thread so it’s your responsibility to do the research showing if and how this was resolved years ago.
Otherwise it looks like you are just dredging up stuff to make Trump look bad because people don’t know all the facts concerning the accusations while hoping they assume the worst.
If you pay a lot of money to learn something, and then don’t follow the rules you learned, you can’t expect to succeed.
I’m not moving any goal posts. You point out “sloppy work” by prosecutors, I say, it figures, he pays his politicians well. The ordinary folks cry out for justice against trump, and the elites THAT HE ADMITS PAYING FOR somehow manage to foul up the case. I understand.

You should get get out of the “House” more.
This article is from 2013.
Wow. Pretty severe short circuit there. Trump is the defendant, not the prosecution.
The prosecutor hates trump, that was part of the problem.
Yes, trump is the defendant. And likely owns the prosecution.
Nice work, if you can get it.
The prosecutor pretends to hate trump. But he successfully co-opted 5000 claimants who might have hired honest lawyers to pursue their claims.
I give credit where credit is due. trump saw this coming, got his stooges to steer it to their auspices, they did a lot of public huffing and puffing, so everyone would think they’re hot on the case, and yet, they muck it up with rookie mistakes, and nearly all of it goes away.
How convenient.
For trump.
“The prosecutor pretends to hate trump. “
Prove it. Or shut up.
“And likely owns the prosecution.”
While you’re at it rove this too, or shut up.
I offer no proof, but it’s a serious charge and must be be looked into. After all, the dammocraps will look into it if he’s the nominee. This is just vetting.
“I offer no proof”
Enough said.
He’s openly bragged he’s bought politicians. That, in itself should be investigated. These particular circumstances look particularly suspicious, and must be investigated, especially in light of the fact that the case was co-opted, and then handled incomprtantly. Just vetting the candidate. These issues are bound to come up in the general election.
Only an idiot would think these seminar sessions are part of an actual "University".
