Anyone waiting on Trump to "say something" that will get him in trouble is like waiting on Cruz to do something exciting. Neither will happen. They will win or lose just as they are.Yes, politics is come-as-you-are.
I had seen Trump as the dragon-slayer and Cruz as the debater, together an unbeatable team.
Cruz cannot carry the day. This is not to say he cannot save the Republic by imprisoning Medusa as Attorney General.
Resistance to Trump is futile. As Robert DeNiro said of Joe Pesci in Casino "he will keep coming at you"

I didn't turn the filters off. Look at the graph. Cruz is up 3 in the last 5 days. Cruz is DOWN 1 from the start of the new 5 day polling cycle, and down 4 from his peak, even swapping places with Carson once. In other words, Cruz has stopped moving.
