On Christmas morning, families everywhere rushed downstairs to find hoverboards, Apple Watches and Star Wars toys under the tree.
But not many can say Santa left them a custom-made, pink anti-tank rifle, bedazzled in shiny jewels.
Guns have been one of the most popular gifts this year - with the sale of weapons soaring in the months leading up to the holidays.
So, after the leftovers are stuffed into the tuppaware and extended family members are shoved out the door, thousands of everyday Americans who were given a firearm this Christmas headed out to a firing range to test their presents.

Reporter Wills Robinson? Danger, danger. Anyway, I only saw one pic of bad trigger discipline in the bunch. I also noted the "reporter" wrote "everday Americans". So does that make gun owners the norm? There is just so much wrong with this but hey, the brits don't have a 2nd and we do. So there. As for the pink anti-tank rifle....... Really? These the same ones that can shoot down the International Space Station? Idiots.

“Machine gun.” “Anti-tank gun.” LOL!
Sure wish the Brits were as wimpy, victimized by Muslim invaders, addicted to welfare, and utterly clueless about weapons and their spawn, freedom, in the 18th Century as they are today: we wouldn’t have lost so many great Americans in the revolution. Oh well: we’ve got their back.

That ain’t gonna stop a tank.
Might do some good if she can destroy the commander’s targeting optics, I suppose.

Looks more like a pink gift wrapper than a pink rifle.

Did you get as far as the guy holding an AR and an AK? Maybe he was a left handed person and they got the pic backwards cause it sure looked to me like and AR in his right and the AK in his left. But, brits. It’s black, it’s scary, it’s a machine gun. Or anti-tank rifle/bazooka/artillery piece/cannon. Maybe since it was pink it’s not so scary. Talk about panites in a wad.

Well with a couple of well placed shots to either the sprocket wheel or the tank track, you could “stop” the tank as in no longer moving. Not that it would do much good against the main gun.

Her pink "anti-tank rifle" about on par with the .55 Boys ATR, which the Brits themselves admitted was insufficient for tanks in 1940. I suppose admitting such things doesn't advance the "1984" agenda.
It's kind of ironic that except for length, some of the current high-end PCP air rifles popular in the UK are about as bulky as that "anti-tank rifle."

Maybe not, but it would work wonders against those SWAT APCs that the police are so proud about ...
