No way do they convict Bill Cosby on these charges.
I'm not saying that because I think he's innocent. Obviously he's not. It's just that these kinds of prosecutions almost never succeed -- from Michael Jackson to Errol Flynn all the way back to Fatty Arbuckle. It's easy enough to ruin somebody's reputation with an indictment, but "beyond a reasonable doubt" is a pretty high bar if you're looking to put a guy in jail.
Especially a guy who's got more money than God, which certainly describes Bill Cosby.

I've been rereading all the information on another one of these celebrity rape cases. Remember William Kennedy Smith, accused in 1991 of sexually assaulting a single mother he picked up in a bar in Palm Beach after a day and night of titanic drinking with his uncle, the late Sen. Ted Kennedy?
That case went to trial eight months after the crime, not 12 years. The victim had accepted no settlements. She reported the crime immediately. They had X-rays of her bruises. The TV networks put a blue dot over her face when she testified.
Despite all that, it took the jury only 77 minutes to find the Kennedy cousin not guilty.

But he IS a libtard

“Remember the prosecutor in Palm Beach â âMaximumâ Moira Lasch, the Vassar vegetarian, the dentistâs wife. Oh my God, was she a dynamo! Right up until the moment the trial started. See, sheâd had to carry her full caseload all fall, while Willieâs lawyers, plural, plus their private eyes, had been working on this one case, and this one case only, for seven months.’
I remember that too. And she was a terrible prosecutor, completely overmatched in the court room.
How does Cosby get charged for an alleged crime that is 11 coming 12 years old?
It seems odd to me. The thing that's going to get Cosby off (apart from a young white woman) is the fact that at this distance from the alleged crime it's hard to find sufficient evidence to prove the charge.
Poetic justice among Democrats is if Bill Cosby drugged Hillary Clinton, she would be his only victim where he would later discover his wallet went missing.
I agree with Carr that he’s not going to get convicted, but I think it has more to do with his age than his money. What’s the point of prosecuting a guy who is 78 years old and will probably cost the taxpayers hundreds of thousands of dollars in medical expenses if he is sent to prison?
Certain sex crimes in Michigan have a 12 year statute of limitations. Cosby’s time would have run out in Jan.2016, so they charged him.
Eventually they determined that Fatty Arbuckle actually WAS innocent.
