You know what, for seven months now I’ve been fed a steady stream of repeat comments about what Trump has said in the past. It does get old after a while. Each person that does it, is convinced I haven’t heard it before, and are dumbfounded that it doesn’t drive me away from Trump. Seriously, after seven months they can’t grasp I’ve already heard it and have taken it in stride.
He is not pushing those things or the people he talked about in those years. He’s pushing other policies and trashing some of those same people.
This isn’t even the worst of it. People just flat ass lie about Trump. And when they do, they’re amazingly taken aback to be called on it.
Take the Second Amendment. One idiot has been posting a chart on the forum for about three months that mischaracterizes Trump’s stance on gun rights.
Trump has a policy paper out that is widely praised. He has pushed CCW, and told people to please use their permits.
He has proposed that Obamacare be abolished and private enterprise be the fix. None the less, I am repeatedly told he wants a government plan and single payer.
These are flat out lies. Now, if I go over to a Cruz thread and point out he voted with every Democrat and every Leftist Republican on Corker, I’m being mean. Explain that for me.
Ted has explained that he outsmarted every Leftist in the Senate by voting with them on Corker. Yikes.
And all those years I thought McCain was bad for doing the same thing. Who knew?
Is Ted trying to tell me every Leftist in the Senate was voting for the Conservative fix? Really? Why yes.

I have had Cruz folks come over to Trump threads to reference Trump as Hitler and us for being supporters of Hitler.
I have had Cruz folks come over to Trump threads and refer to him as having violated us anally.
Just today I had another guy get upset because I posted a fact on the forum, and he told me I should get back over to the Trump bath house threads.
And then you have the audacity to act as if the Cruz guys would vote for Trump, and I am the problem.
Wow.
Good luck finding some Trump folks stupid enough to fall for that limburger.

States Rights, 10th Amendment, is very important, but on all controversial things Cruz doesn’t want to answer, he has taken to using States Rights as a weasel word to get out of jail free and avoid an answer.
You know it and I know it.
Cruz has been perusing TRUMP’s past Q&A hot seat experiences, on how DJT confronts controversial questions, TRUMP being his guidepost and mentor, and now Cruz has come up with making Jerusalem the capital of Israel.
Out of the blue? Maybe not.
I have learned that TRUMP was asked about that weeks ago. I kind of remember that it rings a bell. I’m not sure TRUMP was prepared for that outlier question, but he didn’t sit there and weasel out of it.
He said he didn’t know if Israel had committed to that,
yet.
He admits to truth. He didn’t know the answer. He didn’t know if Israel had committed to the proposal.
I’m all for Jerusalem being named the capital, but I don’t know either. Further more, it rightfully should matter to me what Israel’s opinion is on the question.
Now comes Cruz being asked about queer “marriage” which can not exist, and he shoves it off on State Rights.
Weasel is as weasel does.

I seriously doubt it. It really is shameful that Santorum is resorting to such an underhanded stunt. He’s a ‘has been’ just like Huckabee and they both need to get a clue and bow out.
I believe that Israel declared Jerusalem it’s capital over a decade ago. I may be mistaken, but I think that’s true.
It also declared it in 1948, but couldn’t pull it off as I understand it.
