Donald Trump was for the Clintons before he was against them

Hillary Clinton took a seat in the front pew at the Episcopal Church of Bethesda-by-the-Sea in Palm Beach, Florida, one of 450 guests on the balmy Saturday night in January 2005 when Donald Trump tied the knot with Melania Knauss, his third (and current) wife. At the reception that followed, Bill Clinton joined his wife, the former first lady who was then serving Trump's home state of New York in the Senate.

Trump now says Clinton had "no choice" but to attend his wedding because he donated money to her campaign. And he's viciously attacking his potential rival for the White House as a liar and a criminal, while dredging up old stories about her husband's zipper problem. But his record of praising both Clintons is voluminous, and seems to go far beyond an attempt to further his business interests.

For instance, the Donald Trump of 2015 says that Bill Clinton has "demonstrated a penchant for sexism" and has a "terrible record of women abuse." Over the years, however, he repeatedly downplayed the importance of the former president's affair with White House intern Monica Lewinsky.

Trump even attacked Linda Tripp, the Pentagon employee who taped her private conversations with Lewinsky in which they discussed her sexual encounters with Clinton, as “the personification of evil.”

To vote for Trump in the primaries is akin to voting for a narcissist who leans in the direction you prefer rather than the direction you don’t.

As much as I think it imperative to deny the White House to Hillary or Bernie, I also think it very unwise to replace a left-tilting narcissist with a right-tilting narcissist, for the reason than neither of them deems the U. S. Constitution of much value. Short term this deal looks good; but taking the long view, it does not. This will not turn out well for constitutional governance in these United States; and we will have taken one more step toward the tyranny the founders tried to protect us from.

And I will short-circuit the Trump fanatics by stating the obvious again. Yes, I would vote for Trump before Hillary in the general election. But that will only be in order to put the slide into tyranny off for a little longer. But, make no mistake, the election of either one will facilitate its coming.

See? They are out of ammo here for there own candidate and it’s epidemic! It’s now 100% crap throw against TRUMP.

I mean, LOL!!

I think we are witnessing the early signs of collapse for Cruz. He’s about to have his hands full with the Establishment pushing Rubio and Jeb.

Common sense says if you cannot win, you get nothing. That is what would happen with a Cruz nomination. Hillary.

TRUMP vetted himself, upfront and in public. His honesty was found to be a redeeming quality. He is inoculated now, and the bs is forever cast into the “OLD NEWS” file.

They NEVER did have much of anything, but this all stinks of DESPERATION !

And I guess that the fact that Reagan not only had two different wives, but he had knocked up Nancy PRIOR to them being married, just doesn't count for the HOLIER THAN THOU club. *snicker*

The Democrat party before 1970 was not the same party in 2009.

What makes you so sure Trump would win the general election or that Cruz will lose it?

Trump CAN beat Hillary and his base is crawl over broken glass, through fire, and in a blizzard.

Cruz? He doesn't have the black nor cross-over votes and Hillary will eat him alive;. as she did Lazio.

Just my own opinion. The left hasn’t unloaded their heavy artillary they are holding for Cruz yet. But they will if he leads in primaries. Or maybe they would just wait.

Yes, Reagan was a Democrat. He also became strongly anti-communist when president of the SAG in 1950. He then openly supported and voted for Ike and never supported another Democrat. He campaigned for Nixon and Goldwater. He delivered the greatest conservative speech of all time in 1964, A Time For Choosing. He then served as the Republican governor of California. Afterwards, he wrote conservative newspaper columns and hosted conservative radio broadcasts.

Reagan’s conversion was complete decades before running for president and he had the bona fides to prove it.

Comparing Trump’s newfound “conservatism,”which occured conveniently when he decided to run for president, with Reagan’s is laughable.

Does anyone really think Trump is destroying the Clintons the way he is but will simply turn over the White House to them once he’s nominated?

Does anyone believe the cuckoldette would permit a lacky to stand up to her like this?

And also consider those afflicted by the insanity of the left. Trump is putting everything he has on the line for this election.

This was a businessman who knew the way the game was played. I like the fact that he wants to change the game.

Kinda like being a real a$$hole as a parent, then telling your kids how they should raise theirs?

I am told it “doesn’t matter”, he was just bribing them because “he had no choice”.
