A Republican Playbooker who lives in D.C. is back home in New Hampshire for the week: "Driving around the state's capital [Concord] (which is more heavily Democrat than Republican) ... you notice ... lots of visible support for Bernie: lawn signs and bumper stickers. There are signs of support for Hillary too, but Bernie appears to be winning the passion race, if nothing else. A smattering of Ben Carson signs placed only at busy intersections. More paid media from Right to Rise than anyone.
"I asked my folks, all longtime supporters of establishment Republicans, who they're backing: Trump. When you try to advocate for more traditional candidates, they dig in more for Trump (whose Christmas card is kept in a place of honor)."

Isn’t that the truth! There is the Donald on the stump and getting the coverage, and the Donald in the chair being deadly serious, thoughtful and presidential, determined, and also getting the coverage.
Taken all together, he can ride both horses all the way to the White House. He can get the Bernie voters too, which is a jolt. TRUMP is on to the whole game like no one else.
Hillary appears positively geriatric, sleepy, and destined for another embarrassing loss.
Trump can win, and bring Cruz along with him.
It used to be that Life, Liberty and Religious Liberty could make a “principled conservative”.
Now days they have to ride in, like Huckabee, on the backs of evangelicals alone, to be considered properly atoned to hope for the vote of “principled conservatives”.
TRUMP has passed that threshold test among most evangelicals and is arrayed for battle against the corrupt GOPE and the “fundamental transformation” of our country.
Without TRUMP, it’s back to Politics, 101 and another boring loss for Republicans. No one I know is going to stand for that.
TRUMP, 2016
Illinois is not that unusual .. it’s leans heavily toward the DemocRATS. And .. while the DNC won’t admit it .. a lot of DemocRATS are supporting Trump.
But, right next door is Indiana, which leans heavily GOP.
I don’t think the DNC has come to grips with Trump making headway into their voters.
In fact, I’ve been wondering if the reason the left is so against Trump is, they see Trump encroaching on their supposed territory .. WORKERS.
Happy New Year!
