Don’t confuse most military women with the tiny feminist cabal comprised of a few officers and a lot of political groups who’ve been pushing for complete integration of the combat arms.
There is a vindictive refrain accompanying Ashton Carter’s recent dictat that the combat arms be opened to women without exception. “You women asked for this,†some seem to be saying, “now suck it up.†No, most military women did not ask for it, but the few times they’ve been asked, their voices have been ignored in favor of a teeny tiny group dishonestly claiming, “This is equality.†Some 92.5% of enlisted women surveyed by the Army in 2014 said they didn’t want to be assigned to combat units. Surveys by the Army Research Institute have yielded similar results. This colossal majority matters because it is they who will pay the price for this asinine policy pushed by a small few.
That some men who join the military may also be unwilling is irrelevant. Men are uniquely suited to the demands of combat and we will always need them to fight. We don’t need women in direct ground combat and, in fact, evidence shows they hinder success and incur greater harm than men.

Well, it seems to me they did ask for it. They should have thought through the whole situation before enlisting. Couldn’t they see the leftward slope of the country for the last 10 years? This was the inevitable outcome.

The one’s asking for it are careerists, placing their personal desires over the mission. Contrary voices were ignored.
The vast majority of dumbass “decision makers” who make these dumbass decisions NEVER HAVE TO SUFFER FROM THE CONSEQUENCES OF THEIR DUMBASS DECISIONS! AFTER ALL, THEY DON’T “DO” COMBAT!
“Lesser” people are the ones that suffer!
Send Ashton Carter to Afghanistan in full combat gear and let him find out what it is REALLY like!
Fancy “briefings,” YouTube gun camera movies and “professional” slideshows are a very poor substituted for patrolling the Hindu Kush looking for the murderous bastards who are trying to kill you!
The feminists hold the other women in contempt and their higher injuries on the battlefield and in training is their just deserts for failing to man up.

Combat is not a desired place to be for most men and women. Why would a woman desire it?
Lots of badass ladies out there that can fill combat rolls. Only way for this to be safe, viable, fair and work is to set a standard for the soldier, sailor, airman and marine. Not the male or female soldier, sailor, airman or marine. Meet the standard or fail basic training. General discharge and thanks for trying from a grateful nation....male or female.

They all voluntarily put on the uniform. Sometimes, the clerk or cook gets handed a rifle and told that they are infantry now. This is especially true for the women Marines. They chose to be a Marine where everyone is a rifleman first.

The “draft” will somehow morph into something not primarily for the conscription of warm bodies to be thrown at the enemy (as our standing army and most reserve forces will rather shortly be demobilized and sent home), but for “humanitarian” purposes, some kind of VISTA or Peace Corps service, essentially community organization on a national scale or even international scale. The “national civilian defense force”, which is to be as “well armed, well equipped” as a true military force, but entirely at the disposal of whomever the occupant of the now badly degraded White Hut may be, as a personal army.
This has been tried elsewhere, to no good result.
Is there a possibility of a balkanization of that territory that was once known as “the United States of America”? A number of foreign observers, including some Russians, have already considered this outcome, and may even be preparing actively for it.
If they are not willing to go into combat, then they shouldn’t be called soldiers. They should be civilian employees.
One of the new ladies showing up on FOX, is Lea - a former Navy F-18 pilot .. and she’s awesome.
She discussed this issue on FOX, and agreed with what the Marines determined: Having females in the “combat” units was a hindrance to the efficiency of the unit. It was also a problem because the women were more frequently injured.
I really like this gal, she was on my local news .. and then all of a sudden she was whisked off to FOX. I’m hoping they plan to use her to replace Elizabeth (who just retired from FOX&FRIENDS). The two guys are super accomplished; as well as being smart and not liberal (as far as I can tell). I think Lea would fit in perfectly with them.
