Bush is particularly dismayed by Trump's expressions of support for Putin. On this issue, Bush again attempted to contrast himself with his rival by thoroughly outlining his policy ideas.
"He's not informed," Bush said of Trump adding, "We have to confront the ambitions of Putin. We have to earn his respect by being a strong presence in the world and that means, for example, that you forward lean with troops stationed today in Germany, into Poland, and the Baltics, that you have joint training exercises in a much more robust way to show that we’re serious, that you build ... a counter cyber security effort and an offensive capability that is second to none."
Trump's kind words for Putin came after he received compliments from the Russian leader. Bush wondered aloud whether he could get Trump to stop mocking him with a similar approach.
"For Donald Trump to be praised and immediately turn to this Putin lover, I think maybe I should just say he's the greatest man alive and see how he responds to that," mused Bush. "It's like this is - this is a man in need of just lots of praise apparently."

Putin is no Stalin. Yet when we needed Russia to stop Hitler, we were more then happy to ally with Stalin.

Leadership is much more then a studied accumulation of “positions” and “issues.”
Leadership is the ability to rally, motivate and inspire people to do things they could/would not do, unless externally motivated.
Trump is lacking on detail. That is academic, he is bright and studious. He will acquire the knowledge and insight that Bush claims to have.
But Bush does not have Alpha grade leadership skills. Donald Trump does.
When Bush steps up to the podium and commands a room of thousands for an hour+, speaking from the heart without the aid of a teleprompter, he may get some notice.

They are literally out of their minds. They have been sucking up those defense contractor dollars and repeating the defense contractors' scripts for so long, they can't mentally adjust to the world as it is.
You are exactly right - if ISIS is a real threat (and not a CIA/Saudi creation run amok) we need to work with Russia and China to defeat it.
Its just Tokyo Rove auditioning for his next job...heading up the Trump campaign. Only problem is that a few years ago when Rove attended a Trump party at Mar A Lago (Palm Beach Florida) Tump had his security throw him out for grabbing ten lobsters off the buffet (joking!!)
