(CNN)A driver careened into a crowded sidewalk several times on the Las Vegas Strip, injuring over 30 people in what authorities described as an "intentional" act.
At least one person was killed and 37 others injured near the Paris Las Vegas Hotel on Sunday night, authorities said.
Authorities said the woman was driving down Las Vegas Boulevard before her car jumped onto the sidewalk and struck pedestrians.
She returned to the sidewalk at different spots and hit more people before barreling down the road, according to witnesses.

University Medical Center was treating three people in critical condition and two others in serious condition. Four men and a woman were in fair condition at Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center.
Of the victims, five were Canadian citizens and four were Oregon college students in town to compete in a wrestling tournament.

Police just said she made statement as to why she did it, but they are “not comfortable” disclosing that information!
It was a hard article to read. Too many acronyms that were not explained.
I read that she disappeared for about a month, reported to be somewhere in Texas. Now we are back at square 1 as to why.
Why was she in Vegas, did what she came for not pan out?
Still makes no sense. Especially with the 3 year old daughter.
Officials have as much as acknowledged they are freaking out over the implications for New Year’s Eve tourism/action on the strip if certain information gets out.

‘This is not something she would ever do. We are so sorry for those families affected by this’.
Sheria Agum, another of Holloway’s cousins, said: ‘She’s sweet, she’s a loving mother. She’s a very strong mum’.
Miss Agum added that she last saw Holloway a month ago and after that she changed her number. Holloway’s mother told her she had not heard from her since and she ‘went off the radar’.
Miss Agum said that Holloway had been staying in Texas until recently but upon her return to the West coast she noticed a change in her character.
She said: ‘I have never seen my cousin like that. Her whole attitude changed. She was having problems down there. When she came back she was different’.

Answer: She didn’t appear to be distressed due to her actions. That is the best way I can describe it.
Comments made by the perp (paraphrase): She was in Vegas for approx a week and living in her car at various parking structures. Prior to homicide, we do believe she was at Planet Hollywood earlier with the child.

IMO, from what is known so far re: facebook, instagram, the skanner article from links above, and relatives’ statements in then Daily Mail article, my initial hunch is that this is not jihad.
Only reservation-— these questions:
1) what happened in Texas?
2) Baby’s father?
3) AND “appeared to be ‘stoic’â€
