If anyone needed more evidence of why the American people are suffering at the hands of their own government, look no further than the budget deal announced by Speaker Ryan. In order to avoid a government shutdown, a cowardly threat from an incompetent President, the elected Republicans in Congress threw in the towel and showed absolutely no budget discipline.
The American people will have to absorb higher deficits, greater debt, less economic liberty and more corporate welfare. Congress cannot seem to help itself in bending to every whim of special interests. How can they face their constituents when they continue to burden our children and grandchildren with debts they will never be able to repay? Our government is failing us, so we must do something about it. Who knows how bad things will be when the next administration comes in and has to pick up the pieces?
The only special interest not being served by our government is the American people. It is time we imposed budget discipline by holding the line on spending, getting rid of waste, fraud and abuse, and by taking on our debt. To do these things, we need a President who can lead the fight to hold Congress and the rest of government accountable. Together, we can Make America Great Again." atDonald J. Trump
No mention of the continued funding of the Planned Parenthood butchers.
Oh yeah.
The debt is well past the point of actually being payable, and that is using their obviously doctored numbers and not counting unfunded liabilities.
And on top of that, both parties seem Hell bent on increasing it just as fast as they possibly can.
This madness has to stop now.
“Ryan is a putz!”
Pffft! In his wildest dreams!
Putz? He’s not even a put; he’s just a stinkin’ p.u.
hope this stops ryan and mcconnell, but i won’t hold my breath. we independent, tea party conservatives have thrown everything but the kitchen sink at the gopes, and they have caved on the budget since the lameduck of 2010.
the political psychology is murky on this to me. they wouldn’t listen to us, but maybe the’re more afraid of trump. if it does stop the gopes from capitulating and finally gets them to defund and oppose obama, trump should get the credit and trump should be the president.
And THIS is why I am on the Trump train.
“”One thing to look for is rising interest rates & impact on interest on the debt that starts sucking up most of the budget. Obama has enjoyed interest rates near zero. Now the fed has started raising rates. as the rates go up, feds will raise more taxes, print more money and reduce benefits. That process will go on a while. No dramatic bankruptcy. Just slow death with mass riots of the entitled masses bitching when the checks stop coming.”””
Which is exactly the plan so they can blame it all on the next president.
hahahaha...but you know something? YOur’e right.
Who has more power? The guy to whom YOU owe $100,000 or the guy who owes you $100,000?
Ka—boom!
Campaigners wonder if budget talk is boring. NOT THIS time!
Even low-info people could even digest a daily triple-shot of outrageous specifics every day on this.
“Well Trump had three hours to release this after Rush hollered at him!”
Could you imagine a president who gives Rush and others in talk-radio a seat at the table? It would make history and is already beginning to.
How will President Trump keep Congress in line and prevent budgets deals like this?
I was mad about the Cruz silly tirade too, but we need a STRONG leader who is not scared to confront people.
Cruz is also strong BTW. He challenges the entire ‘G’ OP Establishment and even leftist ivy leaque professors.
Everyone has his own calculation. Her’s mine:
Cruz — Brave. [Four points.] Well-disciplined. [Two points. Net Six.]
Trump — Art of the Deal. [Ten points, minus 3 for occasional outbursts. Net — Seven.]
Paul Ryan found a cow patty to step into during a hot presidential primary.
Not smart. He’s not only corrupt, he has no common sense whatsoever.
“How will President Trump keep Congress in line and prevent budgets deals like this?”
My guess is this:
Vetoes and press conferences over what is wrong with the bill.
But if they are smart, they privately send him a copy before publicly announcing the bill. Then it would rarely reach that point. That way he could talk them out of bad ideas. Even then he keeps their bad ideas on file — if they oppose the border wall and other anti-establishment ideas, he unloads it to the public.
Easy, if a president is savvy enough.
Rush is right...the republican party has become a bigger threat then the dems. At least we can telegraph the dems.
This is the kind of sh*t that has me ready to say f*ck it and become a trumpeteer.
fck ryan
With all do respect Boss, who in the hell is going to shut it down?
Our treasonous Representatives? Yeah those that just funded everything ObucketOshit wanted to finish destroying America.
How 'bout those Senators? Yeah those are the ones that HELPED to fund the destruction of America and helped fund our Islamic enemies that are trying to kill us.
No, the only people left to shutdown this monster are us, the Citizen and we have no leader known nation wide to say, follow me to Washington and bring your own ammo and weapon.
There are a bunch of people waiting for that man/woman/commander to drop that order.
That would be interesting.
But if they are smart, they privately send him a copy before publicly announcing the bill.
Congress is not going to kowtow to the president on something that is in their purview.
“Congress is not going to kowtow to the president on something that is in their purview.”
Then they are going to feel tremendous pain.
Sure they will. Why do you think all these tax breaks and targeted spending get into the bills? Because poor people want them? They get in there because businesses and powerful individuals want them there. President Trump can't inflict enough pain to overcome that.
I was speaking politically. Then again, if Trump’s AG and FBI start to investigate them ... it could get very interesting. I don’t think he would feel all that forgiving of corruption.
