GOP candidates debate for first time since terror attacks.

I’m not surprised to hear that California is getting balkanized. It will take federal intervention to clean it up. Self-government will keep turning into a bigger and sicker joke in CA.
In fact, I predicted that California would be balkanized a long time ago if something weren’t done about voter fraud and illegal immigration. Glad it is not as bad yet as it will be.
-— Listening to how Cruz is using his voice- like a Presidential address to Congress. -—
Yes.
Listening to a smattering of Boston talk this morning (moderate Republicans) and the consensus has Cruz and Rubio as the winners.
Ted is no longer described as an extremist. This was inevitable with exposure to him.
Bump to review later
“There is just NO WAY that Cruz can get areas that a GOP nominee needs to win, to win the election AND I doubt that he can best Hillary. Oh hell, I know he can’t. She doesn’t really “debate”, so please don’t tell me what a “great debater” Ted is. Okay ? “
Bush did...Twice.
I follow Rush pretty closely. He’s not really thrashing Trump just giving the audience a little bit more to think about.I don’t see much bias in Rush’s commentaries about the candidates except for the obvious slams at Bush and a few others who decidedly deserve it.
I should have figured out that brilliant post came from you. Sheer words of wisdom.
And for all his bluster you are absolutely correct. Why would we think anything other than what you stated that trump will surround himself with the best and the brightest, just he does in business, on each and every issue and get it done. That’s the brilliance of not being a pc politician.
When those millions birth even more teenagers who feel the pull of International Islam's great Jihad, we're in even more trouble! What happens when US gangs see the inevitability of worldwide Islam?
“Could be that Rush and Mark were in on the set up to help drum up even more interest. /tinfoil :)”
Yeah, Limbaugh and Levin told Cruz to mumble something about judgment, and it was probably Levin who told Trump to rant that Cruz was a maniac. And Rush said, ‘Ya know, I think it would add color if Scalia had a heart attack.’
/sarc
I think too that people should notice that Rush had talked with Trump privately over the years. Rush was able to see and watch Trump’s political evolution.
Glad to have your experienced input here.
Are you under the impression that many federal bureacracies have for too long been allowed a loose rein, that they get tunnel vison about their missions? For example, the EPA and State Department. They forget to balance out their missions with common sense? Or is sheer corruption and apathy the major problem?
The quote you highlighted was not mine.
I’m a bit more a Cruz guy, but this is exactly correct. The President doesn’t have to be personally an expert in cyberwarfare or the structure of strategic nuclear deterrence. He has *people* for that
Of course he can’t say that in the debate, that would be poison. It would be used against him as ‘Oh hell I don’t know- we’ll have somebody figure it out later’.
But that’s how leadership works.
Exactly zero has been doing that for seven years. He doesn’t know jack sh-t about anything. All he knows is what is programmed into his prompter.
If we had a potus that did everything “for” America instead of “against”, it would make allll the difference.
Trump will be that guy,IMHO.
kabar participates in the tv talk show thread every Sunday here on Fr and has for years. The guy is brilliant when it comes to govt. And he usually backs up everything with knowledge and endless graphics. He’s a smart guy.
Kasich’s looking to land a job in the NFL Offices. Why else would he be signaling scores for 2.5 hours?
Donald hit Yeb so hard, they felt it in Mexico City.
Your scenario sounds like the premise of the “A Fox, A Rabbit, and A Cabbage” episode of Fargo, season 1.
“[Rush] has sources many of us could only dream of having.”
Yeah. So does kabar. And kabar supports Trump’s immigration policy.
Another well-sourced person is Glenn Beck. He favors Cruz. Then again, Beck might feel loyalty toward Cruz. I forget the name, but isn’t there some organization Beck worked with that helped get Cruz elected to the senate? And if I’m not mistaken Beck urged Cruz to run for president. So loyalty could explain Beck’s position.
Now, that's funny!
