No, his issue with Cruz is he doesn’t think he’s honest at all.

Rand, like his idiot father is a KOOK and an ISOLATIONIST !

I was thinking about if Cruz were to get the nomination, who he would choose as VP. Not who I want, but what makes the most sense (!)
I can't see Cruz taking Trump, or Trump accepting a VP role. So that is out. I got to thinking about Rand Paul. I think there are a lot of things about Paul that make sense. It gets the "Paul name" constituency on board. It appeals to the more non-interventionist voter on board. Paul isn't a huge DC insider. On NSA/snooping type issues, Paul is da man, especially with the younger crowd.
So I think a case could be made that Paul and Cruz making a good pairing. Of course I can think of plenty of reasons why not. Two senators, KY is a slam dunk for the Rs, probably should get a governor.
In any case, fun to think about.

For $100 million, youâd think Bushâs team could get 30,000 people to vote for him. "Walking around money" during the primaries?

Jeb's pitiful debate watch party is almost empty.

The GOPe needs to pull the plug on JEBe and let him go home to Mexico in time for Christmas.

Oh, you know Rush gets excited and goes overboard to make a point. Let him up on this.

I am not usually much of a Rand Paul fan and I couldn’t stand his father. However, tonight I did think Rand Paul did very well. He really hit Rubio and Trump Hard on civil liberties and backed Cruz up in his ongoing fight with Rubio over nation building and civil liberties versus government meta data collection.
To: altura
I remember 5 months ago Rush made a similar emphatic statement that Trump was way off message and flailing and that he needed to be on message.
Trump changed overnight and his numbers kept going higher and higher. He learned the lesson of staying on message.
Trump owes Rush his next baby.

Anyone NOT in double digits, needs to go !
To: nopardons
lol, I guess he reminds him of Kennedy somehow. After the debate I told him Rubio was an anchor baby and Cruz was born in Canada and his comment was neither one of them should be up there then.

Interestingly, you didn't call the poster of this thread a "trump fanboi", Theo.
Wonder why that is? Because you just might be what a chicken leaves on the ground?

I think he will come around if he listens to some speeches by Cruz.
He has a way of growing on you. I lived in Texas when he ran for Senator and I voted against him.
I could go back and kick myself.

[I am] still not forgetting Rushs Donald McCain comments.
Rush' job is to attract listeners to his advertisers. No more, no less, and he will admit that. Donald Trump Advocacy will likely gravitate toward a captive audience of something like 20-30M. Rush will not suffer.

I just can’t stand Rand; he makes my teeth ache.
