After a landlord was convicted of pushing her Muslim tenant down a flight of stairs, a judge ordered her to respect the rights of all Muslims and to take an introductory course on Islam. Now the highest court in Massachusetts is being asked to decide whether the judge violated the landlord's constitutional rights.
The Supreme Judicial Court will hear arguments next month in a case that poses interesting legal questions at a time when the country is grappling with anti-Muslim backlash following deadly attacks in Paris and San Bernardino, California, both allegedly carried out by radical Muslims.
The case centers on Daisy Obi, a 73-year-old ordained minister from Nigeria who is the pastor of the Adonai Bible Center in Somerville, just north of Boston.

Suliman complained about the heat and electricity not always working, while Obi complained Suliman appeared to have 12 to 15 people living in the apartment at one point.
Suliman testified that about a month after she moved in, Obi stood on the stairs outside Suliman's apartment screaming anti-Muslim insults.

He sentenced her to two years in jail on the assault and battery charge for pushing Suliman but required her to serve only six months, with the remaining 18 months suspended if she complied with certain probation conditions.
"I want you to learn about the Muslim faith," he said. "I want you to enroll and attend an introductory course on Islam.

Obi's lawyer argues the probation condition that she learn about the Muslim faith "burdens Dr. Obi's free exercise of religion."
"It is beyond dispute that the Constitution guarantees that the government may not coerce anyone to support or participate in religion or its exercise," attorney Kimberly Peterson wrote in a legal brief.

Ah, but the order was to go to the Islamic center, a conversion location.
That’s actually pretty good....
She could learn about nuclear physics or comparative anatomy of invertebrates, as well.
What does this have to do with the court?
If a muslim landlord pushed a Christian down a stair, would the judge force the muslim to learn Christianity? That ain’t gonna happen.
What are stories like this teaching us? It’s teaching us that terrorism pays. Terrorism has turned a majority of the ruling elites into quivering, tail-between-their-legs, boot lickers for radical Islam.
I was just thinking about side-by-side texts and using those. The landlord may go but doesn’t have to listen-or, may listen with cross-references in hand.

If a muslim pushes a pig farmer down the stairs, then what?
The judge is a demented liberal who refuses to accept the fact that islam is not a religion, but a violent, world-expansionist ideology cleverly disguised as a religion.
She wasn’t charged with a hate crime so the judge is way out of line. Strip him of his robes.
The lady should definitely read a good Arabian origin English translation of the Koran. Every American should. Most who do learn the essential facet of Islam and the even more perceptive will check and upgrade their stock of arms and ammo.
How many of these things are Moslems illustrating a point that doesn’t refer to anything real?
What will the judge say when the moozlums lop off the head of the landlord after “class” at the mosque? Maybe: Nevermind!
She already had such a class. We all took it on 9-11
What more do we need to know about islam but that?
