The draft of the international agreement to deal with climate change, which is being considered today in Paris by representatives from 195 countries, calls for the developed nations of the world to transfer wealth to developing nations, including through "public funds."

"Developed country Parties shall provide financial resources to assist developing country Parties with respect to both mitigation and adaptation in continuation of their existing obligations under the Convention," says Article 9 of the draft agreement.

"As part of a global effort, developed country Parties should continue to take the lead in mobilizing climate finance from a wide variety of sources, instruments and channels, noting the significant role of public funds," says the draft.

The draft agreement sets a goal for developed countries to dole out at least $100 billion per year by 2020. ...

A treaty requires senate approval.
Expenditures require a bill initiated in the US House.

And all the Third World Kleptocrats become wealthy — while business cronies of the Western “leaders” get contracts and make kickbacks.

“...mobilizing climate finance...”

Climate finance, that’s the ticket.

It is all about the money. It always has been about the money. It always will be about the money.

"calls for the developed nations of the world to transfer wealth to developing nations, including through "public funds.'"

Of course it does. That's pretty much all so-called "global warming" has ever been -- a shakedown scam to funnel more first-world dollars to third-world hellholes.

And as a bonus, the first world will be severely weakened by kowtowing to unsustainable regulatory burdens while countries like India and China continue to pollute to their hearts' content.

Let's face it -- to the suicidal tendencies which hallmark the political left, it's "double-plus good", comrade.

“The draft agreement sets a goal for developed countries to dole out at least $100 billion per year by 2020”

So that they can get a nice chunk as their cut for distributing it (That’s why the pope wants it too)

Funny how the term “second world” keeps getting ignored, as if there were only first and third worlds today (or as the UN decided to call it all of a sudden, “developed countries” versus “developing countries”). The second world was (or perhaps still is) the state-atheist socialist/communist bloc; and given how the UN’s charter was patterned after the 1936 USSR constitution, the UN’s only goal can be turning all of the world “second” in that context.

Very perceptive observation sir. I’d bet that not one in a thousand who use the term “Third World” know its true significance.

International transfer of wealth is what the whole elaborate ruse is all about.

No effect on climate will result, only world-wide communism.

Where the hell is Hanoi boi going to get the money for this wealth distribution scheme. The commie boi can’t give away the money belonging to Americans without going through Congess. Old horseface really needs to think this through unless he and his butt buddy, Ban Ki Moon plan on pooling their money to pay for this. Wake up Congress! The commies are trying to steal the taxpayers’ money again!

This gives me a major sense that they are setting the world up just like Europe in the feudal days with duchies and earldoms and kingdoms that are “given” to certain folks to manage but end up with cross border feuding due to slights and perceived insults. It can only end in constant war - just as feudal europe always had at least one going on.
