NBC's 'Chicago Med' Airs Hour-Long Attack on the Second Amendment(soooo smart)

Tonight’s episode of Chicago Med was an hour-long attack on the Second Amendment and concealed carry. The episode opens when a hero high school algebra teacher takes down a would-be mass shooter at a local movie theater, a la the Aurora Theater shooting. But before you get too excited, the episode’s title was “Mistaken.”

There was never any chance Dick Wolf, the man behind the notoriously liberal Law and Order franchise, would allow one of his shows to portray private gun owners as heroes. They are always made to look reckless and trigger-happy, which is how liberals view anyone carrying a gun, no matter how often they stop crimes in the real world.

So, 8 people will be exposed to the nbc gar-bage? Persistent eh. But what better place than chit-cago to have a story about the 2nd amendment since it plays such a huge role in real world chit-cago. I mean talk about wild west blood in the streets. What with all the CCW's there and FOID cards on every street corner. And multi automatic bazookas by the carload. Ah, the wonderful world of make believe.

It's not like they just started being anti-gun. I remember plenty of past episodes of tv shows over the decades where a perp shot by by the police or some citizen turned out to be "innocent." The old case-of-mistaken-identity plot device that has been used hundreds of times or more in tv shows.

It's a standard trope by liberal tv scriptwriters....who are usually just recycling old anti-gun scripts. But now they have a new target: all the states that have passed concealed carry.

Expect to see more plots like this one where the "trigger happy" white citizen itching to kill himself some minority shoots an innocent person.

I doubt we'll see any where a cc citizen shoots and kills a thug in the commission of a violent crime. Not in the liberal handbook for tv plots.

Do Freepers still watch network tv? I haven't watched a current network tv show in several years. Between the glorification of pre-marital sex, LGBT fascination and promotion of liberal tenets, they are unwatchable.

One thing about the original Law & Order: some of the liberalism was toned down when Fred Thompson played the DA.

It’s Chicago Med. Why didn’t the portray the real shooters and victims of Chicago. Instead, they made it white on white. And they showed some little white grandma as a bigot. America loathing in Amerika. Great TV, not.

The real criminal thing is that lib elites know the truth: the number of questionable shootings of blacks by the police is just a handful annually.

Meanwhile, blacks shoot and kill other blacks by the thousands annually, and nobody in high lib positions makes a peep about it.

And I'll bet far more police are murdered by black thugs than illegal shootings of blacks by the police. But I never expect the liberal press to tell the whole truth about anything.

Sounds like they are pulling out and rewriting all those old anti-gun scripts from the 1970s.
If you will remember, after the murder of Bobby Kennedy, all the MSM jumped on the anti-gun bandwagon and for decades we saw lots of anti gun scripts in which private gun ownership was portrayed as SUPER BAD! BAD! BAD! ONLY COPS should have guns on TV!

Rifles were OK during the 1970s, then about 1984 rifles also became BAD! BAD! BAD!.

Boy, that's true. I sometimes watch "Law and Order:SVU", and it pushes the politically correct line at every chance. One episode even shows a teen girl "somehow" smuggling a handgun into the SVU station and offing a guy who had raped her.

Suuuurrrreeee....a cop office in NEW YORK CITY is without metal detectors........ Heck, they have those even in Tacoma, WA (my county seat, and where I have to go for "jury duty"). Fortunately, I actually "live" across the Sound in a rural area.
