Donald Trump, speaking to the Republican Jewish Coalition (RJC), repeatedly said that Jews won't vote for him because, since he isn't accepting donations, they will not be able to control him with their money.
“You are not going to support me even though you know I am the best thing that could happen for Israel. I know why you are not going to support me. You’re not going to support me because I don’t want your money,” Trump told a full auditorium of Jewish donors and Republican Jewish supporters. “You want to control your own politicians.”
This plays into anti-Semitic claims that Jews control the country with their money. Has he said this to any other group? Has he told evangelicals that they won't vote for him because they can't control him with their donations? No. Only the Jews.
It is totally bizarre that he would say something so offensive to Jewish voters. Furthermore, why would he ever tell any group of voters that they are not going to vote for him? If that's true, why did he even speak to them? It's a defeatist attitude.
I don't believe, on the basis of this alone, that Donald Trump is an anti-Semite, but these statements put his judgement into question.
Furthermore, he displayed stunning ignorance of what is going on in Israel. He said that once he is president, he is optimistic that with his deal-making skills he can bring peace between the Israelis and Palestinians in six months, or perhaps less, if both are "committted" to peace.

That you suggest God has annointed trump is a sign of a true believer.
I make no such claim for my candidate. God’s anointing will be seen in retrospect, once the nominee is chosen at the convention.
You have so much convoluted thinking in there, it reveals why it is so easy for you to simply chuck anything Trump says.
He flip flops and it’s a non-event.
Someone else flip flops, and it’s not only no big deal, it’s denied what he’s doing.
You folks think you have the immaculate candidate.
You don’t.
I don’t bother digging up dirt on him.
What’s the point? You can find it too.
Your post is a little confusing. It sounds like when trump flip flops, it’s a “non-event.” Perhaps that’s how you meant it, but in my mind, that isn’t something in his favor or that of his supporters.
Perhaps you’d care to clarify.
Yes, you’re right. It should read, “When Trip flip-flops it’s a massive event.” Then carry on...
That you believe I said that from what I wrote is a clear sign of your 180-degree reading comprehension failure.
Seek help.
I guess you mean “when Trump flip flops.” I’ve had those kind of days posting. Especially since moving to this tablet, which is constantly changing and inserting words I never typed.
Perhaps it’s more of a deal because the “conversions” are so much more dramatic.
Going from wanting single-payer health care to a not-very-well-defined market alternative is a rather dramatic 180 degree turn.
Going from supporting all abortions including partial birth abortion, to favoring a general ban on abortion is the sort of change tha t sells books.
Then, comments like favoring the Kelo decision, saying Rich Lowery should be fined for the exercise of crude political speech on non-FCC regulated cable TV, giving good words for single-payer healthcare care, and then, for the “good things” planned Parenthood does make one think that a liberal still lurks under that “converted” surface.
I said “suggest” because what you wrote was ambiguous. It is less my comprehension that needs help and more your writing.
Oh, please.

Always vote for who you have concluded is the better man in any election. Generally there will be ‘distinctions’ between them and a strong degree of consistency on what those distinctions are.
Some try hard to walk the walk....but it’s like wearing a pair of new shoes in the wrong size, they end up with blisters and you’ll hear them whine about their feet hurting so they stumble over themselves alot.
Others simply ‘ARE’ the walk....for them it’s like wearing a pair of well worn boots enabling them to develop “Hinds Feet for High Places.”
I was in line to buy something and in front of me is an old 70-75 year old Jewish guy. He was busy laying some jokes and jive on the bored female cashier. I was not in hurry so I did not mind waiting for him as he tried out his shtick
I said to myself, “This guy is a kidder from way back”
Lol...speaking of issues....
....please stop with the Trump smears until you back up your previous whopper. Thanks ;-)
You already wrote Trump would be worse as President than Hillary. Are you renouncing your own comments (yet) or standing by them ? I don't expect anyone else on FR (except sleeper cells) to agree with you. Moslems agree with you. That is why I'm assigning you to the Moslem camp ...
I don’t think that what’s best, or less bad for America is at the top of the charts of concerns of moslems generally. A big concern for them is, “How can I advance the world domination of islam. How can I further jihad.” I do not fall into n that group. Therefore, to categorize me thusly is a blatant and willful lie.
In any event, I believe trump’s likely blunderous actions will do more to advance the general moslem goal than hitlery.
Nu, a kibbitzer!
You again lie. Go to confession for the sake of your soul.
Why do you even come on FreeRepublic spouting this liberal propaganda ?
Thanks for being my backup on that.
These people are so unhinged it’s very hard to even read their posts.
Look at Hillary’s record, all the deaths around her, all the abused women she abused for a second time, all the scandals, all the major crimes she seems to have been involved in, and yet this nut-job thinks Trump is worse.
That’s what passed for logic for these people.
Take care.
