Although Donald Trump has signed a pledge to support the Republican Party's nominee, that doesn't mean the party's establishment will support him, should he win the GOP presidential nod.
A report by the Hill suggests the big money Republican donors are actually looking to support Hillary Clinton for commander in chief if Trump is at the top of the GOP ticket. Yes, the Democrat Hillary Clinton could be getting millions of dollars from Republicans.
The website says: "In conversations over the past month, GOP establishment donors have confided to the Hill that for the first time in recent memory, they find themselves contemplating not supporting a Republican nominee for president."
When asked for whom he would cast his vote if the choices are only Mrs. Clinton and Trump, the former mayor of Los Angeles and a longtime Republican establishment figure, Dick Riordan, said: "I would probably go find a deserted island."

After the primary, we will have one candidate and we ALL need to vote for that candidate. It is no more complicated than that.
If we don’t do that ........we get Hillary!

I think it disingenuous to state there’s JUST 2 parties on the ticket. Course, that’s the way most have been educated...to keep the sheeple in line and oblivious.
There are plenty of people whom run that, IMO, deserve our vote....else, leave it blank.
As for ‘what to do’: Storm the gates would be my answer, but it’s ~100 too late (and some would argue since the mis-named ‘Civil War’). IE: We lost.
Possible. I think they’ll skip the retread, but it is possible.
I disagree that it’ll be a lose/lose for America in the long run. Those of us who are advocating abandonment of the electoral system in favor of self governance will win big in that sort of scenario.
There will always be those who will advocate voting a little harder on the belief that “this time will be different” but they will be in the vast minority come 2020. The uniparty rarely fails to disappoint.
They are not insults, they are necessary conclusions based upon established facts. If you don't like that, too bad. You made a choice for which you will be accountable. The insults will come when those consequences become apparent.

I pray to God that He will deliver us through this dark time. We are dealing with EXTREMELY DEVIOUS PEOPLE. “The devil can appear as an angel of light”...that is what we are dealing with. These are very, very intelligent people and there is a whole army of them. They have been in change for generations and for several generations we thought the WE were in charge when we went to the polls to elect our preselected candidates. They are masters of the game. God give the people wisdom in our selection.
I hope that if Trump has to go third party that he takes into consideration all of the national planning that the two devious parties have done to keep any third party outsiders from winning. They will challenge Trump’s candidacy in many of the states and may try to keep him off the ballots. It won’t do much good to go to the Supreme Court most of them are part of the problem.

I don’t think that a third party challenge is in the offing. Trump simply has to win the nomination by enough votes so as to preclude the GOPe from the ability to pull anything at the convention. Vote fraud and back room deals are only an option when the margins are thin. It remains for Trump to pull a Reagan and win by such a wide margin that none of the dirty tricks have a chance to influence the election.
Hillary was New York Senator, he had to deal with her.
I am beginning to wonder if Cruz was the outsider who was really an INSIDER. Maybe he is the controlled opposition. It could be that the whole Cruz Senatorial candidacy was a very well thought out ruse from the start. If JEB and the other establishment guys lose they will have a “conservative” in place who will give them their heart’s dream—the Transpacific Partnership. Isn’t this the North American Union all over again? They quietly went away when there was an uproar from the people. You know that the internationalist don’t give up, they have been planning this for too long. They simply go quiet and plan their next move in private. They needed someone who would have all the conservative credentials, be very eloquent in defending conservatism but would vote for the TPP.
About the public schools-I have wondered if it would be possible for a town to simply opt out of the public schools and have a nonprofit of all the parents who would pitch in their money for a private school. They would vote to get out of the public school (government school) system. The public school would become a private school.
Don’t know if you saw my Goldman Sachs (GS) posts and Cruz’ wife’s working for GS but GS is very very bad news. They are maniacs and sociopaths.
The GS connection concerns me greatly. They are such bad news. They take no prisoners and never lose.
I agree on GS. They play both sides pretty well too, good inroads into both the Dems and the GOPe. One of the biggest a**hats I’ve ever known was a GOPe son/trust fund beneficiary of a GS exec. Daddy used his influence and $$$ to buy Junior entré into various senior GOPe circles.
But I wouldn’t read too much into Heidi Cruz’s employment at GS. She wasn’t a senior exec up at HQ in NYC, but more of a regional manager for a territory in Texas.
Trump is single handedly breaking apart the GOP establishment, finally these RINO’s are getting theirs.

GS are sociopaths and will use any avenue to get what they want. To say she was low in the pecking order is to underestimate how horrible these people are.

In Virginia you can’t, but that’s due to the history of “massive resistance” to desegregation.
Even if it were legal, I think you would be better off simply establishing a private school. Once enough kids opt out of the government school it becomes no longer viable and you close it.
The problem is that you will always have a hard core of people who are welfare dependent. Who want someone else to pay be it for their children’s education or their groceries. But if you can peel off enough of the nondependent, you can force the inconvenience issue. I.e. the only “free” government school is 40 miles away. And offer charity for those who truly can’t afford private school.
Personally, I think getting your own kids and grandkids out is the most important. Don’t let them rot in a system you know to be terrible. Be the leader and others will follow.
What if the establishment had to have a stealth candidate who could (they hoped) fool the most conservative voters? They would have to go dark, planning everything in a top secret way. Cruz runs for the Senate as a top secret candidate, not even McCain or McConnell knew. Cruz is the perfect stealth candidate, his attack on McConnell gives him conservative bona fides and he became the leader against the establishment. But all the time he was the inside guy picked to deliver the TPP.
McConnell and Boehner are both expendable pawns. They are being used and have been kept in the dark concerning Cruz.
