'Go back to Auschwitz'; Rabbinical student assaulted in Florida

Assailant reportedly shouted 'Hitler was right' at 19-year-old rabbinical student before beating him in middle of Boca Raton street.

A 19-year-old rabbinical student was verbally and physically assaulted in Boca Raton, Florida last Saturday, according to reports Wednesday.

WPTV Channel 5 said the student was walking on 2nd Street when the assailant, riding a blue mountain bike, shouted at him that "Jews should go back to Auschwitz. Hitler was right."

The young man, who is studying for his rabbinic ordination at the Boca Raton Chabad center, allegedly then replied: "Why don’t you come back here and say that?”

The cyclist rode back up to the rabbinical student, repeated the anti-Semitic remark, and then began to strike the young Jewish man, who hit his head on the pavement before his assailant fled.

The unnamed victim told Channel 5 that he was still shaken by the incident.

“I’m doing better,” he said. “It was just a little bit nerve-wracking having someone scream at me these things.”

Chabad’s Rabbi Ruvi New called such harassment unusual for the town, and said the Jewish community was "in disbelief. Shock. Could this really happen in Boca Raton?”

There is a growing muslim population in this area thanks to the University . (same University that has recently been harassing Christians )

Boca used to be such a nice area .

Across our great nation, there are hotspots of Islamist hatred. Beautiful Boca Raton happens to be one of them.

The starting point is at Florida Atlantic University (FAU). It was there that the Muslim Student Organization (MSO) decided to establish two Islamic centers, each appropriately within arms length of the school.

Boca used to be a very nice little neighborhood before they built those centers .

There is a mosque in Boca that is classified as radical islamic meeting center, it is located on NW 5th Ave just one or two blocks north of Glades Rd, right next door to a Synagog or use to be, unless the Synagog has moved, I haven't been in that area for years but use to live about a half mile from away.

This area used to be different . You have to understand that Boca has a very large Jewish community and there are also many evangelicals in the surrounding area . These problems all started when the muslims started pouring in to the University and started their “clubs” and islamic center which is VERY RADICAL

But we must be vigilant for any hate crimes towards Muslims, blacks, and gays. Meanwhile, this sort of thing attracts no national press attention.

My radar goes up every time I hear the words “hate crime.” There have been thousands of “hate crime” hoaxes across the country over the last 20 years. So, I’m always a bit skeptical every time someone says they were a victim of a “hate crime.”

But we must be vigilant for any hate crimes towards Muslims, blacks, and gays.

That raises an interesting point. How will the MSM react when the Muslims start physically attacking the gays? Eventually we'll have enough Muslim "refuges" to see that happen.

When those attacks happen overseas, the MSM ignores it. But when it happens here...will the MSM defend the gays, or say it's to be excused due to "cultural differences"?

We’re becoming like Europe. Jewish lives don’t matter anymore in America.

It seems like only yesterday that the actor Mel Gibson was being excoriated by Jewish organizations all over the mainstream media for making anti-Semitic statements while in a drunken stupor in a bar late at night.

Yet today when a rabbinical student is physically assaulted in broad daylight by a man on a bike hurling anti-Semitic statements, the story is virtually unreported except in a few Jewish publications.

The Holocaust began with a few anti-Semitic statements that were not criticized, just like the Bubonic Plague started with a few cases that were not treated.

Where is the Anti-Defamation League? Where are the rabbis? Where will we all be if anti-Semitic acts are allowed to run rampant, as they’ve been allowed to do in Europe, except in the same place the Europeans find themselves today — cleaning up after two major terrorist attacks in a year and afraid to walk down the street to visit the grocery store where they can find anti-Israel labels on merchandise so that they continue their anti-Semitism on an even more self-destructive scale?
