Donald Trump must apologize to Muslim Americans and to Jersey City for his untrue, divisive and reprehensible comments perpetuating an old rumor we thought had rightly died.
By repeating â and indeed embellishing â this hateful rumor, Trump once again ratchets up the ugliness in the current political climate.
Thousands and thousands of people in Jersey City did not cheer the destruction of the World Trade Center on Sept. 11, 2001. Period. End of story. There is no need to continue to "fact check'' his words.
The truth is that Trump's statements are factually, ethically and morally wrong. Those of us who were really there that day and in the days that followed know that Jersey City suffered tremendous loss, mourned and stepped up to help.

Jersey City should apologize to America for its existence and its polluting of the environment, politics, its Mafia criminal history, corruption, and sheer stupidity.
Other than that, it’s probably a nice place to visit (if you are armed, stupid, or drug).

~~snip~~
"In Jersey City, within hours of two jetliners' plowing into the World Trade Center, law enforcement authorities detained and questioned a number of people who were allegedly seen celebrating the attacks and holding tailgate-style parties on rooftops while they watched the devastation on the other side of the river."
I read the article at your link and I think I see why Jim Robinson doesn’t like her.
She keeps repeating half-truths and debunked stories like the non-existent “MTV report”.
People who lie in the service of a conservative agenda are not heroes. They do damage to our side, and have to be called out at every opportunity.
but they state there is no need to fact check it.
guess these arrogant turds think we should keep listening to them and take their word for it.
LOL!
When Obamas fly out his butt...
As I recall, it was also reported right here on FR. It may have been you. I'll check the archives if find them celebrating in New Jersey.
I believe obamas fly out of everyone's butts.
You and Kasich are on the same mission.
Bwahahahaha.
No way.
It was all over FR; there were so many different threads, by posters who were THERE, in Manhattan, that I was glued to the T.V. and to my laptop screen. Nobody could even catch up....there was SO much being posted here and for weeks afterwards as well.
Jersey Journal has about 10 readers. They’re owned by Advance Publications which is the umbrella arm of the corrupt and leftist Star Ledger. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a published copy of the Journal.
With all due respect, you’re wrong.
Trump is tapping into the American zeitgeist- outrage, and a hunger for truth- in a way I didn’t think possible anymore.
Keep in mind that we’re being ruled by a cabal of gangsters intent on destroying everything that makes the US great. We need a miracle, and that miracle might just be the Donald.
By repeating -- and indeed embellishing -- this hateful rumor, Trump once again ratchets up the ugliness in the current political climate.IOW, Dhimmicrat rag -- No Press Credentials For You!
And it wasn’t just Patterson, NJ.
I wasn’t on FR at the time but I experienced 9-11. People I knew died/were murdered on that day while they went to work. People I know went to NYC to help with the cleanup/rescue. And there were some who celebrated this. We saw just snippets on the news but it was far more than shown.
NJ has a huge Muslim population. They’re peaceful, RME.
You saw “thousands”? Where were they gathered?
“Trump is tapping into the American zeitgeist- outrage, and a hunger for truth”
Lying is a pretty funny way for him to show it.
Trump's right and those, now Carson too, who just recanted on his previous remark, are damned dead wrong.
