Donald Trump's notorious Twitter presence landed him in a little hot water with segments of the internet commentariat Sunday with a tweet about black-on-black crime.
Trump appears to have been arguing that the new national focus on criminal justice reform is perhaps misguided, as most slain African-Americans are killed by other African-Americans, not police officers.
Trump's argument and the graphic he shared immediately drew the ire of some thinkers.
Some argued that Trump was pandering to sentiment that was already prevalent within the Republican base.
Additionally, some took exception to the veracity of the claims in Trump's graphic, arguing particularly that the "whites killed by whites" number of 16 percent is actually far too low — that most white people murdered in the U.S. are killed by other whites, in numbers lower, but more similar to the black-on-black rate.
Since when is the truth a revolutionary act?

Well, if you read the Washington Times and the NY Post, sometimes you get the write information.
But the national repubbies do the opposite. Then wonder why they lose.

This paper is joke, these got such a hard on for bringing this guy down it ain’t funny. If he merely says the word “black” it will be on the Daily news headlines in a second screaming he’s a racist.

Nationally? No. Most whites are killed by other whites. However, the graph cited "Crime Statistics Bureau, San Francisco" as the source. Whatever that is.
The FBI keeps a database but it can be a little misleading as Hispanics are counted as "White" when it comes to race.

I wouldn’t call them thinkers. They’re more like those opposed to thinking unPC thoughts.
The media have generally tried to keep a tight lid on such stats, maybe Trump’s tweet can break the silence, which would be great.
They also demand Yik Yak be investigated: "We demand an investigation to the extent of the school's ability into [sic] hateful Yik Yak posts and comments. Should these posts and comments turn overtly violent, the students demand the School takes it to the proper authorities and promise the safety of black students on campus. These should be treated no differently from other anonymous hate crimes."
My guess is it’s a LOT misleading.

About 15% black on white.
About 90% black on black
about 8% white on black
