Trump: Paris Attacks ‘Much Different’ If France Had More Guns

Donald Trump, speaking at a rally on Saturday in Beaumont, Texas, suggested that fewer people would have been killed had more civilians been armed.

"When you look at Paris, toughest gun laws in the world, nobody had guns but the bad guys," he said. "Nobody had guns. And they were just shooting them one by one, and then they broke in and had a big shootout and ultimately killed the terrorists. And I will tell you what--you can say what you want, if they had guns, if our people had guns, if they were allowed to carry, it would have been a much, much different situation."

Trump's comments echoed one he made following the attacks on Charlie Hebdo in January, when he tweeted, “Isn’t it interesting that the tragedy in Paris took place in one of the toughest gun control countries in the world?”

And Trump is right, if someone, ANYONE had a gun in that concert hall the carnage would have been much less. Instead these poor people were sitting ducks just waiting for slaughter. A guy in the concert hall was writing on facebook to come save them that they are killing them off one by one and by the time police came in it was too late..One person with a conceal carry and these monsters wouldn’t have been able to kill as many as they did

Now just a cotton pickin’ minit here. Let’s be fair. France has its own martial art, Savate, that got featured on the Discovery Channel’s Deadly Arts program once. If it’s good enough for Discovery, it’s good enough for giving terrorists what for. They just haven’t made a movie about it yet, which is how come no Savate experts showed up in Paris and kicked butt. So instead of guns, they need a team-up with Chuck Norris and a Savate bad-ass. Once it’s on the big screen, that’ll be that. He’ll have to do the same thing with Capuera, in case any terrorists pull anything in Brazil.

If you’ll remember, the Americans on the train attacked as soon as they realized that muzzie terrorist was arming himself. If you aren’t armed, you attack with what you have. Throw anything you can grab, rush the shooters, take them out.

i usually carry smaller in the winter but upped my carry from a GLOCK 26 to a 19. will be having a recoil therapy session am morgens.

I'm the opposite - carry small in the Summer (Ruger LCP .380) because it's too hot in S. MS to wear heavy enough clothing to conceal much more. I have a variety of others from 9MM up that can be concealed on the colder days...

While you have a fighting chance against mass shootings carrying a firearm will not protect you or others from suicide bombings. The most effective protection is keep Jihadists out of your nation, state, and city/town.

Let's do both.

1. Try to keep the jihadis out.
2. Shoot the AK-wielding/grenade-tossing jihiadis when they sneak through or the government invites them in.
