I’ve decided I like almost nothing about Carson.
On a site that still has people fighting in defense of Mitt Romney after the Planned Parenthood videos his actions helped result in, you can ask that honestly?
The Pyramids were hard enough. This is past the point of no return. Though it sounds to me as if he’s not fully engaged with the specifics of the case. Sad to see.
Peace,
SR
He probably should have stayed out of this one.
Not a good answer. Terry had a chance to live and the government killed her.
Dr. Carson experimented with aborted babies. What did you expect?
Nope. I really do not think he is qualified.
This is from the Washington post , so I will reserve judgment. If its true , he is dead to me .
There is nothing wrong with what he said. He did not push for euthanasia.
His position is to treat what can be treated and to leave, what would not lengthen the patient’s life, alone. However, through the whole process to the end, keep the patient comfortable and not in pain.
That’s how I understand his comments.
Well to her dying from dehydration and starving was a big deal.
I’ve noticed exactly what you have said. Many FReepers lean hard left on numerous subjects.
I don’t think their are a majority here that favor Carson, I’m talking about the national polls.
Not defending Carson, but these decisions really aren’t that uncommon. I think that is what he is referring to. The difference here is the family was split over the decision. If the family agreed that this is what she had wanted, no one would have even known about it except the immediate family.
Sadly, in hospice and cancer centers every day people go off medication and are just given pain killers to comfort them as they pass.
Carson considers Terry's life "Much ado about nothing"
And what is Trump’s take on the matter? Have we heard it?
Since it was murder by judicial fiat by starvation,
Dr. Carson is finished, and will remain in his imagined
world(s).
When the reporter asked whether Carson thought it was necessary for Congress to intervene, he said: "I don't think it needed to get to that level. I think it was much ado about nothing."
So the question (apparently, since it was not quoted directly) was, "Should Congress have intervened?"
I should like to see the entire transcript of this interview. I suspect we're not being given the whole picture (again).
Ahahaha, all the morons here who vouched for this Nazi sure have egg on their faces now.
Poor thing. I think he’s a nice man...I think Trump is an ass and I’d never vote for him...but Carson is like Cain. A nice guy, entertaining, but certainly not ready for prime time.
Conservatives keep looking for the pure one who has had nothing to do with DC. The problem is that they are usually not competent, and even some of those who claim they’ve had nothing to do with DC (such as Trump) have actually been benefitting from government banking and lending and property seizure policies for lo these many years.
Still, I feel bad for Carson. He’s a nice man, obviously good at his job, but he shouldn’t have run. Trump is paying his own way, so he can play at it until it gets bad, but Carson didn’t have that kind of money.
