Democratic Poll: Donald Trump Will Be "Hardest to Beat"

Jim Hoft Nov 13th, 2015 12:46 am 31 Comments

It was another PACKED HOUSE for Donald Trump tonight in Fort Dodge, Iowa.

Democratic voters believe Donald Trump would be the most challenging candidate to beat in 2016.

31% of Democratic voters say Trump would be the hardest to beat. In a distant second - 15% say Ben Carson would be the hardest to beat. CBS News reported:

Far and away, Clinton remains the candidate Democratic primary voters think has the best chance of winning a general election - 76 percent say she does.

But which Republican presidential candidate would be the most challenging for the Democratic nominee? At this point, Democratic primary voters say it's Donald Trump: 31 percent say he would be the most difficult Republican for a Democratic nominee to beat. Ben Carson (15 percent) is a distant second, followed by Marco Rubio (13 percent) and Jeb Bush (13 percent).

Both Clinton and Sanders supporters view Trump as the Republican that poses the most difficult challenge.

This may be true.

He would bring in a lot more black voters than ever before for a Republican candidate. And his celebrity status would bring in a lot of low info voters who otherwise trend Democrat (like Schwarzenegger did in California).

It is true.

You think voters would pick Hillary or Bernie over Trump?

This is why the Establishment is freaking out and attacking Trump today in the media. They are in pure panic mode.

There aid to Carson is a joke since last week they were attacking him.

They want a weak opponent like Jeb, Mitt Romney, Carson, etc... They do not want to face Trump.

Oh it’s true.

To see the level of panic of the moderate/left look no further than the insane Kassich. His non-stop lefty rants in the debates tell it all.

Could be a “don’t you dare throw me into that briar patch” tactic if polls showing Hildebeest leading Trump are valid.

Based on my own close relatives, Trump is the only republican candidate they would vote for instead of Hillary.

Is that because Trump and Carson are so good, or because establishment Republicans have repeatedly proven that they CAN’T beat the Democrat?

I believe a lot of democrats believe Trump would be the hardest to beat is because a lot of them believe they might would vote for him.

I believe Trump would appeal to the more moderate democrats (if there is such a thing), blacks, and Latinos than any of the other republican candidates. Also, I believe Trump supporters would be more enthused to turn out to vote than the same of GOPe-type candidates (Mitt and McLame).

I think he is also more appealing to the independents as he is really not beholding to the party but rather to the people.

I suspect this means that some of the democrats polled are thinking of voting for Trump... projection... works in polling.

I think Trump might have ashot at carrying CA. I live in Eastern LA County and in passed 2 weeks I have seen 9 Trump bumper stickers (I didn’t even know he had bumper stickers out yet). I have not seen anything for Hillary or any other Republican candidate. I’ve seen one for Bernie Sanders.
