I have had an opportunity to witness firsthand how the blackmail threat operates. Several years ago while I was in the operating room, I received a call from one of the legal offices at Johns Hopkins University informing me that the state of Florida was trying to attach my wages for child support.
I was quite shocked at such an allegation and informed them that I had three children, which I already support very ably. They said a woman in Florida was accusing me of being the father of her son, and that she had proof of our relationship. The proof turned out to be knowledge of where I went to high school, college, medical school, and where I served my internship and residency. To top all that off, she had a picture of me in scrubs. I said anyone could obtain such information. However, the paternity suit was pursued, and I had to involve my personal lawyer.

“As the case advanced, I was asked to provide a blood specimen to facilitate DNA testing. I refused on the basis of the incompetence of any governmental agency that was willing to pursue a paternity suit on such flimsy grounds. I said that level of incompetence would probably result in my blood specimen being found at a murder scene and me spending the rest of my life in prison.”
Ok.
I think this allegation surfaced in the Walpo recently.
Were I in Carson’s position and were I completely innocent I’d take the paternity test WITH the proviso that if I was ruled out, the WALPO would donate $2 million to the charity of my choice. Guarantee that would be the last I would hear of the problem. I would then circulate the info that when told to put up or shut up, the Walpo chose to shut up.
You got to turn it around on these bastards, not deflect.
And here I thought the love child thing was somebody’s parody post since the article they linked to was unrelated. Looks like that thread disappeared right away.
“while I was in the operating room, I received a call from one of the legal offices at Johns Hopkins University informing me that the state of Florida was trying to attach my wages for child support.”..........
This man lies just as bad a Hitlary. There is no way a surgeon would accept a phone call during an operation, NO WAY!
I’m not buying this one.
I believe him.
:: Were I in Carsonâs position and were I completely innocent Iâd take the paternity test ::
And that honors and protects the 4th Amendment...how?
Blue dress saved, pubic hair on a coke can? If the seriousness of the charge doesn’t get Ben to drop out, perhaps other tactics can be used if he doesn’t get tangled up in his own utterances - or he could consult with Clinton on how to handle love child interrogatories.
I don’t believe the legal office interrupted a surgery to contact him about an ongoing case. Especially John Hopkins.
If it is true, I just lost respect for the entire institution.
The post was removed by admin. Carson did not take the paternity test because there was a chance he was the father. You don’t get you wages garnished until you go to court or you refuse a test. The state does not just let you refuse a test as Carson claims.
Trump knows that Carson has a problem here and he went for the kill last night. Trump is trying to distance himself from Carson because 10 days ago they were the 2 amigos. Once Carson is tossed from the race because of the love child issue, the GOPe will start saying “see I told you so, we can’t have any outsiders”. Trump is trying to out flank them and he started about a week ago by questioning Carson’s word. He went all in last night in Fort Dodge.! Incredible really.
I’m an OR RN. Phone calls to the OR happen all the time. Ever hear of speakerphones?
I think it is very odd he would receive, much less take a call while he was in the operating room?? Since the subject of the call was of such a personal nature who in their right mind would hinder the surgeons focus on the case at hand with such news? From my experience, the surgeon would be given a message to return an important phone call when exiting the operating room.
Also, just because he was in the “Operating Room” doesn’t mean he was “Operating”.
Good point but that sentence as written doesn’t necessarily imply he was interrupted in the middle of the surgery by the call, it very well could have been that while he was in surgery a call came for him (and a message was left) and either the message relayed the details or when he followed up on the call he got the details.
Believe me I’m no fan of Carson’s (I got hammered for the whole “West Point scholarship” thing I still think that was an exaggeration) but this one sentence doesn’t necessarily mean he took a call while in an OR. That would be a huge break in sterile protocols no way any respectable hospital (let alone JHU) would permit that.
“There is no way a surgeon would accept a phone call during an operation”
He didn’t say he took the call while in the operating room.
How long before the c@cks¥cking leftist media leaps on this? they have so far failed to bring him down.
This is not a 4th amendment issue, it is one of politics, it is not a criminal case. Please don’t mix apples and oranges. You have to take on a smear or it takes its own course, your civil rights notwithstanding.
