Long ago, when I started reading FR ( I didn't just jump right in, I read for almost a year before posting something ), the posts were SO erudite and interesting; not to mention fact filled.

Everyone didn't always agree, but it was different. By '08 things had changed quite a bit. OTOH, now, late '07 and '08 look calm in comparison; sadly, and the "discussions", on many threads, just flame wars.

I do all analysis of polls. Have all the polls from beginning of August, many in July. Monmouth is inconsistent to put it mildly. Am revising my methods for true anerage.
