The anti-mass migration Alternativ für Deutschland (AfD) party held a rally in the German capital Berlin this afternoon, demanding the resignation of Chancellor Angela Merkel and calling for the country to adopt a strong policy on immigration.
The AfD has seen its popularity surge as Germany struggles to deal with the huge influx of migrants, and is currently campaigning in local elections in the Saxony-Anhalt region that will be seen as an indicator of public sentiment on the issue.
German paper Handelsblatt estimates that 5,000 people joined the rally this afternoon, calling for the immediate closure of Germany’s borders and introduction of Visa requirements from migrants from the Balkan states, including Serbia, Bosnia-Herzegovina and Montenegro.
Angry demonstrators chanted “Merkel must go†and “traitor to the people†under the banner “Asylum has its limits – red card for Merkelâ€.
Adressing the crowd, Beatrix von Storch, member of the European Parliament, accused the German chancellor of causing “asylum chaos†in Germany.

Is anything being done to prevent the unwanted insertion of these damned infernal symbols?
My take from observing Merkel is that she is insane, or truly evil.
Something better happen quickly to save Germany and that something should be to close the borders and start pushing these people out to where they came from. Its national suicide not to do it.
Merkel is an intellectual who simply looked at the prediction of 850,000 for Germany to enter in 2015 and figured they could handle that. Later, they pushed the number up to 1.5 million and they kinda admitted that it’d be a minimum of that many in 2016, and maybe even 2017.
That soured the entire strategy. In the past seven days, I’d say that the change in the strategy has been obvious and the new media (who were crusaders for the program for the past eighteen months) cannot explain why things shifted. It should be noted that roughly 45-percent said in a recent poll that they don’t believe the state-run TV news media. Added to the mess is an independent financial survey that it’ll cost 15 billion Euro for 2016 to handle the crisis, with no added to the pot. So far, they can’t explain where the money will come from in the budget but promise not to raise taxes (how you get from A to B is a total mystery at present).
Perhaps they could reactivate Dachau and the French could reopen Devil’s Island.
Guantanamo isn’t big enough, so perhaps we could put Castro out of business and use more of Cuba for internment. If the internees have to be fed then bales of hay could be dropped to feed these animals.
Merkel is in collaboration with an evil that wants to destroy Western culture. A simple protest isn’t going to be enough. They’ll need to send a much more significant message.
I asked the same thing days ago and was told by a poster that it was an easily remedied coding problem.
Perhaps, if that 850,000 were assimilable fellow Euros and not savage, mostly young male Muzz.

The problem with liberals is the intensely believe in a utopian vision they are certain they can bring about “If only people would (insert lament.)” They see a world where the lion lays down with the lamb and noshes happily on a vegan salad. The problem for the rest of us is we have to live with the calamity they create whereas they live in gated communities with security and purposely never see the damage they cause. If they think about the people at all they are probably saying under their breath, “all you have to do is hang on. Endure a few more rapes and a few more killings and all will work out in the end.”

With the way the US media operates also, one has to wonder if the powers-that-be didn’t decide at some point that the way to control a democracy was to control the info they got; and shape their views with propaganda.
Ergo, eventually they infiltrated and took over the major media in most western countries.

Maybe we need, first, to cleanse the media of controls (ie, in the US, by stripping the broadcasting licenses from the current holders, and auctioning them off to others).
If TV covered the world with the depth and variety of the Internet, the public might be less like sheeple...

I guess we are living in interesting times!
In the 1980’s, when all of Europe was coalescing into the monstrosity it has become, there was a common, incessant idea I could not release: Brussels/The Hague would attempt to be the legal ends of this merge, with too much olld blood between nations; somehow Rome would be tied, considering that Rome was always part of the coronation process of Europe; and that Germnay would be the fulcrum of the whole mess, still respected, and still feared as the only military power in Europe used as an international measuring stick.
Now, we can add in the Fall of The Berlin Wall, as a measuring stick, for those who grew up in the divided Germany, and those who grew up in the unified Germany, and the ideological differences.
So, what are you saying, Terry?
I believe it is time for the German people, now unified agin, after 30 some years, to re-ignite ‘Eine Volk, Eine Aussprechen, Eine Startseite.’
The elected governments including our own are protecting the invaders, this in itself is treasonist.
