On Friday, a new media report scrutinized two more stories from the neurosurgeon-turned-politician.
Last month, Carson detailed how he protected his white high school classmates the day after Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s 1968 assassination. Violent race riots ravaged Detroit’s Southwestern High, which enrolled more black students than white students.
Carson, a junior lab assistant with a key to the school’s biology workroom, shepherded his frightened friends to the lab to shield them from the violence, he told the Wall Street Journal.
he newspaper spoke with a half dozen of Carson’s classmates and his high school physics teacher: Not one remembered his heroic hideaway.
“It may have happened, but I didn’t see it myself or hear about it,†Gregory Vartanian, who served in the junior ROTC with Carson, told the Wall Street Journal Friday.

I’m wondering why the left is attacking Carson.
I think it’s because Carson said on Oct 28th that marriage was between a man and a woman.
That caused the left to lose it’s focus on anything that would take down Trump and start attacking Carson.

They did it to Cain, they did it to Palin, they did it to Bush. The media creates the narrative, and it takes a lot of skill and charisma to fight it. Reagan could do it, and Trump is doing it.
That is my biggest thing I love Trump for is he is dismantling the narratives that the media is constructing.
My guy is Cruz, but he isn't good enough to take on the media in this way yet.

He did a GREAT job at the debate.
This new revelation reminds me of a White person saying, yeah, but I have Black friends too.
That medical skeleton in his closet had more useful purposes that he anticipated.
I’m not just talking about these MSM stories. His political support for gun control, for instance, made him dead meat in my eyes. He has no charisma, no common sense, and obviously cannot cope with the media. I was never voting for him before, so what the media says is irrelevant to me. I’m just tired of hearing “Ben Carson this...Ben Carson that..” Dude has no chance in any case.
Wow, the media is vetting Carson almost as much as they did Obummer.

I wouldn’t vote for him because of his views on 2A and amnesty coupled with my thought that we wouldn’t know his name if he were white.
Those things aside, it seems that Ben Carson has committed the most grievous of Uncle Tom sins - Black While Republican.
If nothing else he shouldn’t be abandoned in the face of hypocritical media (or Jeb, or Trump maneuvering) in a rectal exam of his self-documented history because NONE of that was EVER done for the Kenyan in Chief.
The clue here for Ben is that Trump gets over because he doesn’t give a crap. He’s a fighter - and Ben should be too. Why would Ben give two shits about what Media says or questions? Water off a duck’s back just like Debbie “Mayonnaise Hair” Wasserman Schultz, just like any Democrat ghoul and then on to your point if you have one.

Although I’m not for Carson since I think the better CEO of the USA will be Trump, and some of Carson’s policy positions are questionable - I hope the American people are finally wise to the rotten to the core leftists.
My 1968 graduating class alone from Denby H.S. consisted of approx. 640 students. There were about 3000 students in the school and the only ones I remember were about 4 guys on the swim team which included my best friend Gary. Other than the pool, Gary and I never shared a class together.........
So the term "Classmate" involving a Detroit public school is a very, very broad term..........
But the MSM isn’t the only media anymore. Social media is almost as powerful now, and of any candidate, only Trump knows how to effectively message in social media.
For example, when the Carson stories started a few days ago, they started with a company called Buzzfeed. Most people here don’t know who or what Buzzfeed is, but it is a gigantic, major player in social media. Very liberal, very clever, and very, very good at framing their narratives.
When Buzzfeed started putting up articles, I knew Carson was in trouble. Why? Because the people who read Buzzfeed for news, think it is all actually true. Then they post those articles on their FB page, they link the articles on Twitter, they post images from the articles on their Tumblr and Instagram pages, and before you know it, those that swim in the ocean of social media have seen the story dozens of times from dozens of different places in just a few hours. So it has to be true, right?
A press release or an interview in one place is not enough to counter that narrative. Nor is having a single websource print a retraction going to start to undo the damage.
Here is a true story that no one but me can relate. Those I intervened on behalf of probably wrote it off as nothing, but it wasn’t.
In my neighborhood the whites generally lived on one side of a 30 acre orchard. Looking down was the poorer neighborhood, with mostly blacks. One day my brother and I were playing in this orchard, when he and a friend decided to yell down to the group playing football “n****r n****r n****r” and run off laughing towards home. Everyone else left but me, you see I knew one of those people from down the hill, we had classes together. They came up looking for blood, but I looked this fellow 10 year old in the eye and told him “my brother is a brat” and that “I will tell my dad about it” and apologized. They all asked my name andT these young boys from the “ghetto” walked away from me without a grumble. They ended up being my friends throughout HS. My brother, was every bit 7 years old. The boy that led them up the hill, became head of the NAACP in our community after his father, who became friends with my dad. I don’t think anyone else remembers this, but on such things turn the world. Maybe some remember but I don’t think so.
How is that story any different than Carson’s? Even if no one remembers him doing this, it is a fact in one persons mind. Someday when we have our life “displayed” back at us during a judgment we will know a lot more. Until then, anything that comes at Ben Carson I will dismiss as a paid attack. Either bring the facts, provable facts or QUIT with the slanderous stories. That is my opinion and I am sticking to it.
Zactly. Even as a VP candidate, He will draw about 1/3 of black votes and would set a distinct contrast to the indoctrinated communist in the white house.
I don’t think Trump had anything to do with this in any way shape or form....if that’s what your implying...
The one to look at is The Clinton Crime Family....now there you will find a lot to imply about...
