Whining Quentin Tarantino thinks First Amendment is one-way street. He gets to call cops murderers but they don’t get to defend themselves.
Ping to Liberal Media Criticism list.
Funny how this schmuck hates cops but two weeks ago when someone came onto his property who did he call for help..THE COPS..hey next time you need help since you hate the cops so much just grab an orange instead
He has the right to free speech, but so do cops.
Also note how leftists always decry any hint of non-PC behavior in TV or movies, but then say it has violence in TV and movies has no effect on the culture.
Tarantino has made a living showing people pointing guns and murdering each other.
Now it’s the cops fault?
It is frightening how many people do not understand the 1st Amendment and would work feverishly to get rid of it ... for others, not understanding the implications for themselves at all.
So many short sighted stupid people.
A good number of them are in Hollywood.
My guess is he is doing this because of his obsession with the “N” word in just about every movie he makes, so I assume his latest one will have the same thing.
He’s entitled to speak his First Amendment rights to speak as a jerk.
I back the BLUE as much as anyone, that being said, I don’t think most of yall would relish a drive up I35 through WACO, especially on a bike, not even mentioning the FEDS.
Is Rachel Maddow putting on a few lbs?
Funny, I thought the First Amendment stated that Congress shall make no law infringing on freedom of religion, speech, the press, and the ability to assemble. I don’t see anything in there that says that dumbass Hollywood directors should be immune from adverse opinion. Maybe it’s one of those special, secret codicils that states that celebrities are Special People with Special Rights unlike the rest of us who keep their shabby careers afloat with our ticket money. Not my ticket money, at least.
Does this make him an honorary Dixie Chick?
The Chicks had a similar inability to distinguish between free speech and consequence-free speech.
“I was under the impression I was an American and that I had First Amendment rights.”
Yes, you certainly do, knock yourself out, and I have my First Amendment right to call you an idiot and to not go see your freaking movies.
What's more "vitriolic" than referring to police officers as "murderers"? The First Amendment may protect free speech, but it doesn't protect one against the consequences of using poor judgement in exercising that right.
He looks like an old lady that forgot to put her teeth in.
This is what Hollywood and money does to your brain...in most cases. Let us see what happens when this fool needs serious police support....
MY FIRST AMENDMENT RIGHTS allows me to boycott your crap.
He’s still basically what he started out as: the guy behind the check-out counter at the video rental place.
It’s always amazing to liberals that anybody could possibly disagree with anything they do or say. They go out of their way to provoke and agitate, but they can’t believe it when people respond adversely to their nonsense.
There is no protection from the consequences of what you say even remotely mentioned in the Constitution.
Therefore .... we do have Freedom of Speech in this country but we all must be prepared to pay the consequences for what we say Mr. Tarantino ......
This leftist Hollywood weirdo has every right to say what he wants. He just isn’t exempt from the fallout and backlash those words cause. Just ask the Dixie Chicks.
He's right on that.
Unfortunately for Tarantino WE (the rest of us - the 'little people) also have that right. And cops have that right, and all of us who hate him and hate Hollywood have that right.
Totalitarians like Tarantino don't like that... they hate that cops have the right to 'talk back' to rich liberal elites like Tarantino. They hate that Tea Party members can band together and 'talk back' to the elites. Whine on Tarantino - whine on.. T
