How awful. The comments on Youtube were not at all accepting of this type of behavior, which surprises me somewhat. I thought most of America had lost their minds over these ‘poor victims’. Evidently not.
Can you imagine being legally forced to send your kid into that environment? Oh, wait that is the law in Chicago.

While I feel sorry for her, I sort of don’t at the same time. She is putting up with this and apparently not for the first time.
She needs to sue every one of those kids, their parents, the school district, the DOE ... the President.

Animals does not quite describe that vid. The teacher is a saint to put up with it. She is in danger there. I will be praying for her. She is in desperate need.
I would say this is by far not an isolated incident.
Meanwhile, let those animals rot in the streets.
One more thing, the parents of the “kids” should be down there whipping the crap out of them.

What bothers me a little are the posts that subtlety put the blame on the teacher. The first of these types is the "Why then doesn't she quit?" variety. The second type is the "If I were there, I'd make those kids behave!" variety.
Both of these types are just not grounded in the reality of the situation. This lady is a victim, period. End of story. Look elsewhere for the culprits, for there are many.
Hopefully the teacher has sent out numerous resumes to private schools where civilized humans sit in class and hopefully one of those resumes will be answered.
That poor teacher was scared - she felt defeated and was just hoping to keep everything from escalating. She just wanted them to tire of what they were doing and stop themselves. She knew full well if she went all authoritative on them, they’d pull out all the stops. She’s likely just got a little time left to put in and is trying to get out without too much trouble.
That teacher can use this video as supporting evidence for a permanent “disability” claim. If she is still in that classroom, I really have no sympathy for her. The sad truth is that public schools in a sh!t-hole like Chicago exist only to employ people, so the working conditions are a secondary consideration here.
You start out with an average IQ of 85. Then the smarter ones move away to escape this kind of behavior. What is left behind is what is seen on this video.
