A veterans advocacy group is criticizing the plan to reform the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) released by Donald Trump.
Concerned Veterans for America (CVA) said the plan was âheavy of rhetoric, light on specificsâ in a statement on Saturday.

You’re wrong.
Veterans have every right to be skeptical of any promises made by anyone.
Does CVA have any constructive ideas?
The Koch network created and funds Concerned Veterans for America

If I remember correctly the VFW and American Legion both backed Obama.
We all must remember there are all types who serve and therefore all types of vets. Not all of them are conservative.
According to the search I just did on this group:
Concerned Veterans for America (CVA) is a 501(c)(4) non-profit which seems to be funded almost entirely by the Koch brothers donor network.

Seems to me, the Koch’s, and the Bushes seem to be on the same page at the moment.
Correct me if I am wrong, but isn’t he the only who talking about trying to fix things for vets?
So if these guys don’t like this plan, does that mean they before the non existent plans that no one else in the GOP are discussing? /s
Does Trump?
Right you are.
“I think this is just a libbie front group...”
You’re probably right. Anything that starts with the word “concerned” concerns me.
Organizations that use that word are often liberal. The other word you need to watch is “guild.”
Quite a few, I believe.
Who are you supporting please?
FORMER FLORIDA GOVERNOR JEB BUSH TO HEADLINE CVA ‘VETERANS AND MILITARY TOWN HALL’ FORUM IN COLUMBIA, SOUTH CAROLINA
This action and the comments from Concerned Veterans For America will get Pete NOWHERE but more time on FOX. I will say no more at this time, as I know Pete and very disappointed he would make such statements.
Should say
“So if these guys donât like this plan, does that mean they prefer the non existent plans that no one else in the GOP are discussing? /s”
Actually I think this is a group that is affiliated with the existing VA.
While not stating it out right Trumps plan for reforming veterans care would, effectively, if I am reading it right, merge the VA health services into medicade/medicare. Think about it, if you are a veteran are you going to go to a doctor 150 miles a way in vet hospital or are you going to see one closer to home? If veterans can do that and use hospitals that accept medicare/medicade then who needs a veterans’ hospital? Trump’s plan would save millions of dollars and improve service but would put a lot of bureaucrats out of work and slash the size of government.
It would also mean that advocacy groups like the one in the article would be out of work
VFW does not endorse candidates .
I stand corrected.
