He was my favorite DA.
He had a great voice.
And, I never saw anyone not want to run for President as much as he didn’t. (You know what I mean.)

I met him backstage at a Hannity Freedom Concert in mid 2007 in San Diego. I thought he had a shot at the nomination. We were getting close to finishing HILLARY! UNCENSORED and I shook his hand and told him we were doing the documentary that may just allow him to beat Hillary. But the Muslim who hates America came out of nowhere.

Eight years ago Thompson was the front runner in the 2008 Republican Primary.

He has been doing commercials. Was he ill?
To: TheBigB
Sad to hear this. At least I got to vote for him for president.

I’m so sorry to hear this. He was looking very frail lately, but...
Rest in peace, Fred.

He was awesome as a no-nonsense leader in “Die Hard 2” and “Feds.”

This TN senator I did vote for...twice3...
also he didn’t consider himself too big or too important to come to downhome GOP BBQs in counties not aligned with big cities...
We saw him every year at ours plus other events..
