Conservative powerhouse Rush Limbaugh let loose on liberals and GOP establishment types critical of Republican presidential candidates Ben Carson and Donald Trump. On his website, Limbaugh said, âI donât care what you think of Donald Trumpâs personality. Frankly, itâs none of your damn business,â he said.
âYou go do what heâs done and then tell him heâs worthless. Go do what Ben Carsonâs done and then tell him and tell the rest of us that he doesnât know what heâs doing, or any of the others up there on that debate stage,â he added. Limbaugh remarks come as the popularity of these two outsiders have risen among Republican voters but not among many in the mainstream media or the GOP establishment.
Limbaugh identified why voters were attracted to Carson and Trump and it happens to be the very reasons why Republicans in Washington have an aversion to the presidential hopefuls. Hereâs what those people donât like about these men: They say what they mean and they donât back down when the media has a conniption fit about it.
Trump has been straightforward about illegal immigration, the Muslim refugee crisis, the minimum wage and taxes â and the public loves what he has to say. Similarly, Carson refused to back down from remarks about a Muslim in the White House that offended the left and the mainstream media â but made every right-thinking American cheer.
Limbaugh nailed it on this one â when any critics of these two men can accomplish what theyâve accomplished, maybe they will have room to talk. But until then, they should just do everyone a favor and be quiet.

He sure is. Straightforward supporter of Obama's stimulus (porkulus) - Go Trump! Straightforward supporter of corporate bailouts - Go Trump! Straightforward supporter of Kelo v. Connecticut - Go Trump! Straightforward supporter of 'universal' healthcare - Go Trump! Straightforward the awful single-payer system in Canada - Go Trump! Supports continuing to fund all of the 'good' things Planned Parenthood does and winning praise from the organization - Go Trump! Straightforward in lecturing "you conservatives" that we'll "just have to get used to it - get used to it, conservatives!" when it comes to the government 'taking care of everyone' - Go Trump! Etc, etc, etc. (no, you are not deranged, an agent of the GOPe, etc. to be disturbed about all of these things being collectively in a single candidate - there is no perfect candidate, but this is too many ultra liberal positions for one candidate to have to feel exactly comfortable with him as a frontrunner for the GOP nomination)
In any event, this article is just a bit misleading in how it is setting the context of his remarks - Rush did not "unload" "on his website" - he stated this on his show and the transcript and archive audio is uploaded there. Moreover, this wasn't just about him defending Carson and Trump - the topic was the 'analysis' done that the GOP and its candidates are no higher than a middle school intelligence level. Hence, Rush's other mocking commentaries about Charlie Rose's "2nd grade level" questions he made the same day. Here is transcript of the remarks this article is referencing: http://www.rushlimbaugh.com/daily/2015/10/29/who_are_these_people_to_tell_us_we_re_stupid - not the same context this article tries to reference - he is unloading on the media's attack that conservatives / Republicans in general are intellectually inferior and defends all of the candidates, not just Carson and Trump.
Sounds exactly like the GOP that all of us voted into power.
Look people, Trump and Carson are the only 2 who are clearly outside of the D.C. sewer and still hold the same traditional values that most of us adhere to...the others only attempt to express the same patriotic views!
I like Cruz and Carson and find the attack distortions of their careers distasteful at the least.
Trump is the only one who can win...well,...it seems that the republicant circular firing squad won’t be happy until there’s once again a democrat in the White House....then they can do what they do best....bitch and complain to a conservative radio host for the next 4 years.
For so long, the GOP has not had many candidates who have been impressive. Despite their individual shortcomings, most of which are minor, Cruz, Dr. Carson, Trump all have excellent qualities and are fit to lead. No matter which of these head the ticket in 2016, all most certainly qualify for positions in a renewal administration. Most important is for those who support them to hold their feet to the fire, daily.
One correction. Trump isn’t asking anyone to pay him. He has said numerous times he isn’t going to take a salary and would donate it to charity.
Rush has been trying to get the GOP to hear us for years. I think he’s pretty much given up on them ever hearing anyone but themselves. But Rush has new hope since Trump came on the scene. I do too.
Rush just wants someone to be the next President who will do something to stop the carnage. He knows there is no hope with the rep house and senate. He knows it will take a person strong and determined, to take on all of washington and the club that wants to control everything to their liking. Rush knows there may be only one who can do that .. and it’s Trump. Rush likes Cruz and Carson .. but not sure they are as strong in temperament and determination, to stop the damage from continuing.. to turn it around... to deport the illegals.. to build the fence... to drill baby drill.... to overturn obamacare and get insurance back on a doable footing... to deal with the middle east... to treat our military well... to stop the spending... to shut the gov down if it takes that.... to stop reaching across the aisle.... to do what is right and to hell with the repercussions... to be strong and get America back on grounds that our enemies fear us and our friends trust us again... to stop the killings that obama has as much as encouraged...
Just to get someone in there that looks and acts like he loves this country... and wants to get it back to greatness again. it’s not asking too much to the person who can do it and WILL do it..
I agree. I’m sick of this BOOM thing. I guess the people posting this don’t read the posts to their threads or they would see that most are irritated by the BOOM!
It means the story is click bait.
Correction - Trump didn’t vote for a single bill that passed these laws. Now, can we talk about the Corker bill and the TPA?
there has to be a ground swell , nay , a tsunami , of vast grass roots support for Trump . To utterly and totally overwhelm all possible traction for any of the leftist crapolla candidates and RINO Repubs .
WE let it slip away in ‘08 and ‘12 .
This cannot happen again . Every single American patriot
need to apply maximum PRESSURE , on everyone they know , or are related to and get them to VOTE TRUMP .
No excuses this time . Or we lose our country .
That is what he should do (should do).
After all, he has said he is worth 10 billion.
Boom!
I’ve seen Boom! on four different articles today from three different websites.
It’s almost groupthink.
Yeah that pesky income. He should pay his fair share. /s
And just think: We are only starting. As the election nears the treasonists are going to get even more vicious, probably, more than likely will start resorting to illegal methods out of desperation. People like Trump, Carson, Cruz are huge threats to the treasonists agenda of destroying this country and it’s citizens.
Go Trump!
Go Trump!
Actually, I’m sure he does pay his fair share. I think it is great that he is rich...and I am very sincere. I have yet to have a poor man give me a job.
What I am trying to say is that he has the luxury to give his salary as president to charity. (btw...it’s a tax write off). Not everyone running has that luxury.
