Unlike almost all conservative commentators and a fair number of liberal ones, Ohio Governor John Kasich was quite satisfied wit the job done last night by the CNBC debate moderators. Brittany M. Hughes of the Media Research Center:

The presidential hopeful told MRCTV he “thought they did a good job,” saying he was “very appreciative of how they did their job.” "I had time" to speak and discuss the issues - and, this time, the debate "wasn't a circus," Kasich said.

The difference is that Romney was a wimp and wouldn’t fight back. I liked the feistiness of (most of ) the candidates last night.

Is feistiness a word?

Of course he likes them. While I don’t know what the clock said about anyones total time to answer, seemed to me he was the least interrupted by the mods. YMMV

That is very kind.

I was just going to say that he is a major kook with severe mental issues.

Well, of course, Kasich (a “manage the decline” type of politician) would appreciate the CNBC moderators since they fit the “speed up the decline” mode of progressives so well.

Because he is too mentally deficient to challenge Trump and Cruz, he welcomed the moderators’ help in kneecapping them.

This debate wasn’t a circus? What debate did he attend? Certainly not the one I saw.

“Is feistiness a word?”

Well, I use feisty all the time. I think it is legitimate

That’s why Trump has GOT to be the GOP nominee. We need a street fighter to take on Hillary. Anything less will be a defeat.

I will be glad to meet your definition of defeat in supporting Ted Cruz. The man is a winner and not just a pretty face who got his start with his grandpa’s bordelos in the Alaskan Gold Rush.

And furthermore I’m sick and tired of hearing how Kasich actually balanced the budget while he was in the House - he balanced the budget under Clinton, who had the benefit of a booming economy thanks mainly to the tech sector bubble - once the NASDAQ stock exchange plunged by 70% in early 2000, all those nice capital gains tax payments to the government evaporated and the income side of the equation went negative - but the equation had been balanced to begin with by Clinton’s “spending down” the “peace dividend”, meaning essentially that since many fools believed we’d never have to go to war to again after the Soviet Union fell, Clinton felt justified in reducing spending on the military by 20%, something George Bush would have to rectify only a few years later after 911 - just as he’s now crowing about how he’s reduced his state’s Medicaid spending, Kasich was spinning the figures then - this time he rather than Bush will be left holding the bag when the feds cut back on their spending for Medicaid and Ohio has to begin picking up the full bill - let’s hear him crow then......

It’s frightening a mental case like this is so representative of the GOP establishment.

“and, this time, the debate “wasn’t a circus,” Kasich said.”

Thanks to Senator Ted Cruz.

I think Cruz could beat Hillary. I think Rubio could beat Hillary. I’ve been with Cruz since he won his Senate Seat here in Texas, but, Trump would be the most brutal on Hillary and he seems to be the one who will be the nominee. Those two and Trump can defeat her, but none of the rest can do it. Carson is a fine man, but Hillary would eat him alive.

that may be so, but I am unsure if Trump’s lack of social conservative credentials will inure him to those who choose that as a priority vs financial conservatism.

My wife is a perfect example, and over half the voting public are women.

Kasich was in DC and did nothing. Why would anyone give him another chance?

Not entirely correct. Kasich did vote to help pass Clintons semi auto ban. Tells you all you need to know about the little pimp.
