Game 2 from Kansas City - Play Ball
:)
But a lot of teams throw in the towel while the fat lady is just warming up. The Royals as a team never consider themselves out of the game and as a result they give 100 percent till the very end. I have never seen this current team go through the motions or just phone it in. It's refreshing...and how baseball should be played.
KC’s good.
It’s good never to give up. It’s better to stay ahead. But fight to the end.
Royals should have 1-1/2 game lead, since they had to play an extra half-game last night.
:)
If tonight goes into overtime, I might have to bail around midnight.
yep 2011 World Series, Texas v St Louis, the Rangers needed one strike to win the series, the on line probability had them at 99.9% chance to win, they lost.
I wish they’d show batting practice.
Classic August, 1983
Is that yours?
My wife wants to know your address and when you are not home. Do you keep your doors locked? Windows? Where exactly is the item? Any dogs? Weapons?
She loves George Brett. You better watch out. :-)
George just wanted to discuss the matter with the officials.
Know a guy that took a picture of Brett when KC played at Texas, next time they were in town, he presented it to Brett and asked him to sign it, Brett wrote a note on there that he was paid for these things and was not about to let someone else make a profit off of him and did not sign it and gave it back to the guy. Real class act - not.
Hard to believe 1983 was 32 years ago.
Man. That’s a tough titty said the kitty!
Skokie. Every road leads to Skokie.
According to the experts from the East/West Coast sports medial, MLB had something of a mix up this year. Somehow, a minor league team from somewhere in fly over country made into the World Series. They don’t understand how that could have happened since they don’t have pitching, they don’t have any bats, and they don’t have anyone with star power. Things were so bad last night that they yokels in Kansas City had to pull the plug on power in order to prevent a Mets blowout.
That was what baseball is all about. People who are not baseball fans should watch a game like that. Can’t wait for game two.
Go Royals!
