In an interview that aired Sunday on CNN's "State of the Union," Rubio said that the way Trump speaks about immigration is "absurd," and questioned whether the real-estate mogul actually believes his own rhetoric. "His rhetoric is a little louder, but if you think about his position on immigration six months ago, his position on immigration six months ago is nothing like his position on immigration now. Even what he's saying now borders on the absurd," Rubio said. "It's just Donald being Donald," he added to dismiss Trump's position.

No it’s not. Once you get them out, and an effective fence is in place, controlling temporary foreign workers and of course it tightens immigration where the country is in control.

Rubio’s comments don’t border on the absurd, they are absurd. While he does not lie as much as Hillary, he is a better lier and has fooled with voters with some big ones.
I would prefer that Trump just say he wants these illegal leeches to get the hell out of our country.
And that “Sanctuary City” officials be arrested.
They would have no jobs, no money, no food. If they can not afford the ticket back to their country of origin, buy it for them.
It is exactly the right thing to do even if the language which he uses isn't politically correct.
Do I actually think he will deport them all if elected? Of course, he won't. But he very well may put the onus on them to prove they are contributing to this country rather than the onus on the law to prove they should be deported.
"You can't deport everyone" is little more than code for "You can't deport anyone." You start with the worst offenders and deport them, then work your way down. A lot of them get the message and self-deport one you show we are serious about protecting our citizens and legal residents.

I agree with what you wrote. Trump needs to talk about how it will be done. I would allow those with no criminal record or history of welfare use to continue working here but they would have to get in line for citizenship. No more being born in this country makes you a citizen. I would also kick all able bodied persons off welfare after a years time. Work in the fields or starve. In the long run it would actually be doing them a favor. Americans need to re-learn how a strong work ethic leads to pride and success.

Too bad Rubio’s head isn’t screwed on straight because he does speak well and is a likable guy for the most part but his views on immigration eliminates him as a contender. Not sure about his 2A stance. That too might.
