Carson's violent past: Bricks, bats, hammers
CNN ^ | 11/25/15 | Eric Bradner

Posted on 10/25/2015 8:18:46 AM PDT by jimbo123

Ben Carson says he's soft-spoken now -- but he hasn't always been so calm.

"As a teenager, I would go after people with rocks, and bricks, and baseball bats, and hammers. And, of course, many people know the story when I was 14 and I tried to stab someone," Carson said Sunday on ABC's "This Week."

"You know, fortunately, you know, my life has been changed," he added. "And I'm a very different person now."

Carson's comments came after Donald Trump, his leading opponent for the Republican presidential nomination, said at a rally in Miami on Friday that Carson has even less energy than Jeb Bush, who the developer has repeatedly called a "low-energy" candidate.

"Ben Carson is super low energy, right? He's super low," Trump said. "Super low energy. We need tremendous energy. We need tremendous energy."

Ben Carson: I'm not low energy. I used to attack people with rocks, bricks, baseball hats and hammers. You call that low energy?

And that’s supposed to be a reassurance to me?

Carson has many virtues including humility and patience. He is very different from Trump, true.

Carson is much more like Quintus Fabius Maximus....LOL...which, in the case of Hannibal, was genius.

Trump has been going just about non-stop since he got in. I can only imagine what he would be able to accomplish as President, with his drive. Amazing. It would be amazing!

Self-righteousness under the guise of humility is more accurate.

Read closely.

I have from the beginning believed that this man has the potential to be even more damaging than Obama. Deception is very strong with this man.

I keep hoping that folks learned a lesson and got a little wiser after nearly destroying the country the last two elections.

Growing up in the ‘hood’ and on his way to being just another one of obama’s sons and he turned is life around and became a honorable man. . .yes, I’d say that is inspiring whether you support him or not.

We should celebrate he did not continue down that road because likely today he would be another criminal taking lives instead of saving lives.

FYI, the term “Fabian Socialist” comes from Quintus Fabius Maximus.

You should all know who the Fabians were/are (obama)-—like the sodomite John Maynard Keynes, who was raping and castrating little boys during his homosexual orgies and bragging about it in letters. They mean to convert their World to their beliefs (and they are succeeding by co-opting our “legal” system) Below-—well worth 7 minutes of your time (for your children).

Carson: "I tried to stab someone"

I guess he is going for the Rat crossover vote. It might just work.

I say again, Ben Carson is a dangerous man bordering on sociapathy. I want him nowhere near the Presidency. I hope he fades and soon.

Quite simply, there is just something seriously wrong with the man.

I think Carson was trying to get in front of what is inevitably going to come out about him. Carson also has the whole medical malpractice thing to go through too.

He would be destroyed in the general. He’s not willing to fight and he’s got serious mental problems.

Hopefully by now the majority of Americans realize that character really does matter. Not saying Carson is a man of shady character. I don’t know. But I do think that his ultra low key demeanor is odd. Very odd.
