WASHINGTON (AP) Months before the first primaries of the presidential campaign, Jeb Bush and his allies are deep into building a data-driven operation to turn out voters in the general election much later spending heavily on the assumption he will overcome his sluggish start and win the Republican nomination.
(snip)
Yet it's already hit an early roadblock.
Bush and his advisers have abandoned plans to link some of the technology efforts of his formal campaign and an allied super political action committee by contracting with a single company. That firm could have provided both groups with the same data on the electorate from which to work everything from names and addresses of voters to their hobbies and number of children.

More wishful thinking from the GOPe supporters.
Bit of hubris at play in the Bush camp there don’t cha think?
If Jeb is the nominee, I stay home. No more of this type candidate.
What kind of useful data can you mine when you only have 5% support from people who claim to be Republican? That’s about 2.5% of the population i.e. just above asterisk level.
If Jeb isn’t the GOP nominee, this database will be used by the GOPe to help elect the Democrat.
If they analyze too much of jebz data they’ll need suicide watch.
Either the ‘Fix’ is in or they are whistling past the political graveyard...............
His Romeny’s data center crashed or got sabotaged the day of the election.
This is a case of a campaign consultant making a big score for a big project contract.
An Ethiopian in a dinner jacket couldn’t be more delusional.
He needs to get Romney’s outfit. They were excellent.
The rats did that eight years ago and added to it four years ago. They have had full time staff staff working and adding people to the rolls.
¿Yeb? reminds me of a flea floating down river on his back with an erection yelling RAISE THE BRIDGE, IM COMING THROUGH!
I bet every company they have contacted have demanded both cash up front, and a contract with a clean disconnect if things go south.
So they want to coordinate the efforts of the Super PAC and the official campaign? I thought there were rules about that.
This is more of the same hubris that had Yeb’s opening message be about his communication style rather than who he is or what he stood for. Unfortunately for Yeb, the more I understand his character and what he stands for... the less I could care about his communication style.
This is another case of a GOPe genius running before he caught the ball.
