Donald Trump: I would have prevented 9/11

Donald Trump says he's not blaming George W. Bush for 9/11, but he claims that if he'd been president, the attacks never would have happened.

In an appearance on "Fox News Sunday," the real estate mogul said that since he's "extremely, extremely tough on immigration" the attackers wouldn't have been in position to commandeer U.S. flights.

"So there's a good chance that those people would not have been in our country," Trump said.

He took another shot at Jeb Bush for claiming that Bush's brother, the 43rd president, kept the nation safe.

"I'm not blaming George Bush," Trump said. "But I don't want Jeb Bush to say, 'My brother kept us safe,' because September 11 was one of the worst days in the history of this country."

What a person actually says matters not one bit in this nation today. What matters to the media is how they can twist the words to influence the herd. And what a herd it is! By the millions, they take a headline like this and wring every wrong premise that they can out of it.

A tough immigration policy may very well have expelled these whose visas had expired before they could execute their plan. Or, tougher standards may well have not allowed them into the country at all. There’s no way to refute that without twisting the original statement.

Lax immigration enforcement has put every single American in harm’s way, no matter where they live. And Obama is artfully arranging his illegal immigrant army in strategic areas for full effect. I sincerely hope that the Progressive idea of “charity” that is being embraced by so many of the herd includes bowing to strange gods and sacrificing your very life on your own doorstep while trying to shield your family. That’s exactly what’s coming if someone, anyone, doesn’t stop the tide. One only has to look at what’s happening other parts of the world to see a picture of our future unless we do something.

Don't blame Clinton for all of it. GWB was Commander in Chief. No reason as such he could be prevented from protecting US locations essential to national security.

I remember being appalled that a plane could just swoop down on DC and hit the Pentagon, of all places.

And what about the Tsarnaev family? They came here in 2002 as refugees, when GWB was "keeping us safe".

Jeb should get out of the race. All he's succeeding at is putting the dynasty and his brother's administration in a much more unfavorable light.
