Donald Trump says he's not blaming George W. Bush for 9/11, but he claims that if he'd been president, the attacks never would have happened.
In an appearance on "Fox News Sunday," the real estate mogul said that since he's "extremely, extremely tough on immigration" the attackers wouldn't have been in position to commandeer U.S. flights.
"So there's a good chance that those people would not have been in our country," Trump said.
He took another shot at Jeb Bush for claiming that Bush's brother, the 43rd president, kept the nation safe.
"I'm not blaming George Bush," Trump said. "But I don't want Jeb Bush to say, 'My brother kept us safe,' because September 11 was one of the worst days in the history of this country."

Trump plainly stated that had his immigration POLICIES been in effect, that 9/11 would not have occurred. Your lunatic GOPe crew of RINO retards (the Bushes included) put us into this position through years - even decades - of outright indifference to enforcing our immigration laws, and going bat-sh*t crazy with HB1 visas, the sum of which thus guaranteed the flooding our country with all-manner of unsavory characters.
Had we exercised some degree of control over who comes into this country, then perhaps our population would not have exploded to the point where tracking overstays is a near impossible task. Well, Mikey, let’s reread what Mr. Trump actually stated ...
Here are the quotes from the article:
1.) “extremely, extremely tough on immigration”

3.) “I’m not blaming George Bush, but I don’t want Jeb Bush to say, ‘My brother kept us safe,’ because September 11 was one of the worst days in the history of this country.”
Hard to see in those quotes where he actually says he personally would have prevented the attacks. He only states that there is “a good chance” that the bad guys “would not have been in our country” ... And since he likely knows, as we do, that the muzzy bastards were long here on expired visas ... it is fair to state that his immigration policies, put into immediate practice, would have discovered the supposed “oversight.”
Since Mr. Trump is not a muzzie boot-licking, Saudi Royal ass kissing dweeb - as was your buddy, GWB - I suspect he would have made some immediate changes on all levels so to at the very least enforce not only our immigration laws, but also underscore the need for government agencies to take their job seriously. I also suspect that since Mr. Trump is a DOER - he actually gets things done, on time and on budget, unlike the slouches that infect our political class of do-nothing drones - that he would affect such changes within the first week of his Administration.
But you go ahead, Mikey, and keep right on pushing for the status quo you so obviously worship. I figure, you must work for one of the leeches in this cabal of treacherous boot-licking GOPe traitors, else you would not have such a hard-on to go after those who challenge their choke-hold on government - and, by extension, we Americans.
Thanks for posting this. And it’s a shame too many people read the dishonest headline and buy it hook, line, and sinker. We spend so much time here griping about a dishonest media, then react with a knee-jerk even when the dishonesty is right there in front of us.
Had we enforced immigration laws properly, those on expired visas wouldn’t have been here. They may have found another way to hit us, but claiming that a tougher enforcement of immigration would have made it less likely is perfectly reasonable.
