The long-running feud between Jeb Bush and Donald Trump escalated yet again Saturday, with the former Florida governor releasing a two-minute attack video on social media mocking the billionaire’s fitness to be commander-in-chief.
“.@RealDonaldTrump’s absurd comments again raise questions on whether he possesses the judgment to be President,” Jeb Bush tweeted.
The clip, set to the tune of circus music, is a collage of comments from Trump that have called into question his grasp of military matters. Many of Trump’s most notable gaffes are highlighted: from his questioning of John McCain’s status as a war hero to his inability to name prominent terrorists

John McCain was a screw-up who happened to be an ‘Admiral’s Boy’ and received, as a result, a lot of high citations and medals for bravery where not one single act of bravery is ever described other than he flew a plane, got it shot down, ejected and was taken prisoner.
Many fine soldiers performed true heroic acts, were shot and left to die as they rotted away in horrible jungles of Vietnam, and they never received such high and mighty medals as John McCain.
John McCain is a fraud.
But Trump did not say John was not a hero. What he said was he prefers heroes who were not heroes because of their capture. McCain never performed a heroic act and no such act was ever described in his citations, which is required by DOD manual.
He’s simply a son and grandson of Admirals who was decorated for that reason.
Exactly what did Yeb do as his tenure as FNG CiC?

Jeb personifies the rest of the GOPe candidates, I don’t think any of them served in military did they?
At least Trump did go to New York Military Academy and did pretty well.
Right now I will take Trump over everything else I have seen.

And this will gain votes for Bush exactly how? He’s in a no win situation. Don’t attack Trump in response to the baiting and look weak. Attack him and even if it damages the man little if any support lost would migrate his way. The only people who want Bush 3.0 are the remnant family loyalists and the Washington / Ivy League private club / old money Wall Street set. The voting base want nothing to do with him.
Fox will be thrilled and anticipating his surge.

Jeb is very dense. He seems to think that McCain is very popular.
This attack ad will help Trump more than it will hurt. It will be just like the Club for Growth attack ads. Trump is running against some very stupid people.
Wonder how many classes on military history and similar classes he had there? A typical transcript of classes.take at the NYMA would be interesting. All classes taken before the age of 18 in his formative years

I think the idea is to be able to stay in the race long enough for other guys polling in low single digits to drop out.
Bush & Rubio have basically the same support group. Some of Fiorina’s support would overlap with Bush so the idea may be to to be the best of the worst and gain by consolidation.
For that to work he has to at least slow the Trump express down a bit.Right now Trump/Carson/Cruz are totaling about 60% of the vote and very little or any of those vote would fall to Bush so he has to get the Trump/Carson/Cruz triumvirate to each be about 20% so that the 35% he hopes to gain through consolidation will be the winner.
Just my thoughts
Smuggling, attempted burglary or worse, narcotics felonies, public sodomy, resisting arrest, and personal narcotics abuse... All in one cozy little family of father, mother, two sons and a daughter, and those are the offenses we KNOW about. Yeb cannot run his own family. Yeb is in NO position to judge anyone else, on anything at all.
