There are some O-5 people who just can’t be overlooked because they are just so damned good at what they do and how they lead but they will never be upper management material. I think these are some of the most satisfied and accomplished people.

I don’t want a war with Russia. I applaud their obvious successes against the jihadis, and pray for their safety and continued good hunting, as long as this Netanyahu - Putin detente or entente holds up.
You would have to ask one of the half dozen keyboard commandos here who crave a war with Russia like normal people want sex, peach cobbler, cold beer or their kids on the honor roll. FWIW I think they fall into two main camps which have become very closely and intimately entwined. The NeoCon acolytes of the Wolfowitz Doctrine, and some not very covert administration sock puppets pretending to be conservatives. I call them ObamaCons. They call me a Putinista, which is quite stupid but most of their comments are.
I wonder how many Freepers would be happy to hear or read that Putin’s forces have killed Americans? I know many of them cannot believe anything that’s not pro-Putinista.
