Hewitt sounds like a typical liberal statist.
“get with the program” my ass.
I guess “the science is settled”. Right, Hugh?

If Ryan has 225 votes, then it’s a done deal.
So. What’s the problem?
Exactly.

I like how these type of people “out” themselves.

"There's like 15 of you people," Hewitt said of the caucus
Well then why are you so threatened by them Hugh?
PS. How's Mitt Romney doing?
To: jimbo123
"The Freedom Caucus is like 15 people. Paul Ryan is liked by 225 Republicans.
If that were true then he'd win the vote 225-15. What's the problem?

Good rule of thumb. If Hewitt backs someone, someone else is better.

I think the revolt is winning friends by arguing that the *power* of the office needs to be reduced and democratized.
This is what happened the last time Republicans revolted against the Republican Speaker of the House, Joseph Gurney Cannon.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Joseph_Gurney_Cannon
Then, it was progressive Republicans in revolt against a steadfast conservative, so the roles were reversed.

Too bad for the rinos that ALL of THEM have proudly exposed themselves since Obama became resident. They ran faster to the far left than I could have imagined.

“There’s like 15 of you people,” Hewitt said of the caucus, which has about 40 members. “The Freedom Caucus is like 15 people. Paul Ryan is liked by 225 Republicans. Get with the program.”
If Lyin’ Ryan has 225 Republicrats that like him, then he doesn’t need Brat and other conservatives, Hewitt you dimwit.

Hewett uses the same techniques as liberals: Lies, half truths and exaggerations.
The House Freedom Caucus isn’t “blocking Republicans from electing a successor to outgoing Speaker John Boehner”.
They just won’t cooperate in electing another John Boehner clone from the Uniparty.
