Ben Carson and Donald Trump are tied among GOP voters in Pennsylvania, a new poll finds.
Carson and Trump each receive 18 percent support from registered Republicans in the Keystone State, according to the Mercyhurst University Center for Applied Politics poll on Monday.
Former Gov. Jeb Bush (R-Fla.) trails them with 9 percent. Former Hewlett-Packard CEO Carly Fiorina next grabs 8 percent support among registered Pennsylvania Republicans.
Gov. Chris Christie (R-N.J.) and Sens. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) and Ted Cruz (R-Texas) are in a struggle for fifth place with 4 percent apiece.

Don’t you just hate seeing 200 people at an event others get 30,000 people to show up to?
Listen to AFR talk radio. Evangelicals love Carson.
BO and Hillary both campaigned here in 2008 because their race was somewhat close. Although Hillary won handily, it didn't make much of a difference because BO, while starting to sputter about that time, also had a big lead.
It isn't popular to say so, but Pennsylvania basically follows national trends, we don't create them.
Sometimes a circus attracts more people than a church service, but I'm not putting my salvation in the hands of a clown.
In a state with as many Liberal Republican bedwetters as this one, that’s quite telling.
The only clown around here is you trying to peddle the idea that a three ring circus that features Carson, Fiornia, and one other person of your choice, is tied with Trump on any given day.
200-300 people vs 30,000 people
Trump is hawking Conservative ideals. You didn’t know.
Clown indeed...
My clown is and always has been Cruz. He is the consistent conservative. Your guy has more flips in his history than an Olympic gymnastic contest. Trump is unreliable. He is a snake-oil salesman. He is a narcissist. He looks in the mirror and sees the same thing as Obama.
And yet, he draws 30,000 people who when interviewed support the same things you and I do.
Don’t you just hate that?
Well, actually you really really do. LMAO
Just relax. It will be over in five to nine years.
Then you’ll probably tell folks you supported him when...
Carson is a very likeable, admirable man with an Horatio Alger story. Even his opposition can not demonize him.
I think Carson occupies the Huckabee spot this time around. IOW his base are the social issues first conservatives.
I agree. Trump is not trustworthy. Cruz is. But Cruz has been demonized by right and left alike and is getting no traction. He will get my vote but he will not win a single primary.
There are some union people in my family. I’ve gotten to the point I don’t even talk politics with them. This time they’re talking Trump. LOL
They hate everything he stands for, and yet they know he’s right.
They can say whatever they like.
In a world where Trump pulls in 10, 20, and 30 thousand people to a political event, and Carson pulls in 10, 20, and 30 tens of people to an event, Im not buying into them being tied.
Why not just say that Carson has four times the following of Trump? I mean if youre going to manipulate the figures to this degree, why not go all the way?
In the privacy of the voting booth,
*************
Okay. So what’s wrong with the privacy of a poll as you aren’t in a group
that’s watching or hearing what you say.
You’ve basically voiced my thoughts on his broad base support.
I'm starting to push 70 so maybe Alzheimer's will push me in that direction, but right now even I can see that the RCP poll of Republicans has him at 25% which is more Radio Flyer wagon than band wagon.
‘[Trump] is a narcissist. He looks in the mirror and sees the same thing as Obama.’
Anybody who says this is too clueless to have an opinion with caring about.
Oh...and one of these clowns consistently polls double digits. The other one is now polling at 4%.
Trump consistently packs his rallies with thousands and/or sell out crowds. Cruz? Not so much.
Turn about is fair play. Doesn't feel so great when it's YOUR guy being called names, eh?
We have seen these polls rank Fiorina, Carson, and Cruz even with Trump on a given day.
The next day they’re back to being ten to fifteen points behind.
This poll doesn’t have a ring of authenticity to it.
If you want to believe it does, that’s okay. I know some of you don’t like Trump and can’t see anything decent about him.
Take care. One of us is right. You can take that to the bank. = :^)
