Ohio Gov. John Kasich said Friday the United States should establish no-fly zones and sanctuaries along Syria's border with Jordan and Turkey, and warn aggressors, specifically Russian President Vladimir Putin, that they violate those buffers at their own risk.
Campaigning in New Hampshire, the Republican presidential hopeful said the U.S. must send a message that military retaliation is a guarantee, not an idle threat, if conditions are not met.
"You enter that no-fly zone, you enter at your own peril," Kasich said. "No more red lines, no more looking the other way. If any hostile aircraft should enter that, there will be a great consequence to them."

I see Hillary is proposing a no-fly zone over Syria, but why stop there? Surely Obama could declare the Middle East a gun-free zone and put that unarmed security guard in charge.

Kasich .... warns Russia? I bet Putin is shaking in his boots.
So collectively, we have stood aside as ISIS has terrorized the region but now we need to step in and stop Russia from stabilizing the situation?
I must ask, who are we trying to protect?
And precisely who is going to enforce said “no fly” zone? If this steaming pile wants to talk about starting a war with Russia, he should also talk about his plans for a draft. Because you’ll need one in short order.

Obama’s friends. (Kasich’s too apparently)
Hey Kasich, how’s your buddy Gary Condit doing these days?
One more republican who supports Obama’s attempts to hand the ME over to the MB.
Kasich will send the Post Office after them.
As Viet Nam era veteran who hated those creeps who fled to Canada, if the US started the draft to go fight along side the terrorists to stop Russia from helping Assad, I’d support every young draftee who decides to go to Canada.
