Less than a week after he said he would not be doing any more Fox shows for the foreseeable future, Donald J. Trump is set to appear Tuesday night on the networks The OReilly Factor, the network confirmed.

Thursday, Sept 17-

Kelly had 2.483 million total viewers.
That is a completely insignificant reduction of total viewers. Infact, the numbers are almost exactly the same.
I see it too. In fairness the Pope may have figured in either as a plus or a minus. Seems to be a minus.
Maybe folks are just tired of FoxNews for doing what they seemed to be doing.
Megan’s number took a big hit.
So did some others.
No idea what you find so remarkable. The ratings for the Thursday of each week are nearly identical.
Numbers just changed. ????
Been FNC-free for 8 months now, much happier :)
Sorry last Thursday Megan Kelly was at 2.4 mil and O’Rielly was at 2.7 mil. These are normal ratings for Fox.
Remember also last week was the Pope’s visit and that skewed the ratings.
Take a look at their top draws.
O’Reilly and Kelly both took big hits.
And by the way, take a look at the 25th.
That’s just ugly.
In related news. More evidence to why Ailes and Megyn Kelly caved.

BOR’s huge hit was probably bleedover from conservatives boycotting the Pope, but Kelly was targeted. My cup overrunneth! Thank you!
Just like we have insidious voter fraud, we also probably have Nielsen fraud. But it’s exquisite seeing Megnnnnn get slapped back. Delicious. And worth a thread of its own.
First, Friday’s are volatile if you follow these ratings - which I do. Second, Pope coverage very well affect the ratings. Liberal pope = liberal networks do better. Even if you don’t buy that, big one time events always benefit CNN.
Just the same. On Friday the 25th Kelly had 2.016 million viewers. On the previous Friday, September 18th she had 2.206 million viewers. That is a drop of about 200k, nowhere near 500k - and again, unusual events like a Pope visit will temporarily skew ratings. CNN, for example, tends to soar when something like an airplane disappears, but then fade away when nothing big or unusual is happening.
The idea that Trump’s “boycott” cost Fox 500,000 viewers is utter nonsense. Probably something the poster read somewhere and had no evidence to back up. Second, you would need to see this over period of days or weeks, not one Friday night.
I wonder if Roger Ailes finally realized he has cut his own throat and, caved in to Donald Trump!!! He has put Trump back on his #1 prime time show “The O’Reilly Factor” tomorrow night!!! I also wonder, where was Megyn Kelly this evening....maybe Ailes sent her to Siberia, to never be heard from again!!! I do feel sorry for Greta & Hannity, because Trump was always welcomed on their shows.
CNN (Erin Burnett) did a fair job tonight with their interview of Trump and his suggested tax revision plan. CNN dedicated the whole prime time hour to Trump!!! Ailes better get his act in tune....because CNN & MSNBC will gladly and gleefully steal viewers that the FNC had owned for years!!! Ailes must not be wrapped too tight.
Ailes also needs to immediately fire a number of his personnel, Bret Baer, Brit Hume, Chris Wallace, George Will, Charles Krauthammer, etc. If not FNC sinks into the oblivion cesspool reserved for failed Cable News Networks!!!
Yes...let’s bookmark that clip of Ms Meh-Gyn claiming she won’t be talking about Trump, anymore.
What...she’s saying she won’t be reporting news, anymore? Well, we already knew that ;-)
60 Minutes had it’s highest ratings, with Trump, that they’ve had in over a year.
Is that the reason why Megan wasn’t on her show tonight? Maybe she was scheduled for vacation....
LOL
Trump draws them in...
I’d agree more with you if bill didn’t take a hit the next night also.
Thanks for your explanation of taking numbers at FoxNews.
Yes...Fox News Channel has taken a serious viewer drop...that is fact. The drops range from 200,000 through 500,000 viewers, depending on the show. Fact is Trump brings in the viewers!!! Roger Ailes has a ton of work to do to save his channel from decline and failure!!!
Fox does understand ratings = $$ above all. LoL.
You are more than welcome. It was pretty clear the original claim that Fox News had lost 500,000 viewers was utter nonsense.
Trump makes enough of his own press that he does not need FOX. He truly should not go on there until sometime in Feb or March.
Make them suffer a bit.
I am voting for Trump when the time comes but I have to say that whomever said sorry does not matter, Trump caved.
