He called Rubio a clown and pointed out his voting record in the senate. 10 to 1 says Bloody Megyn’s lead story tonight will be Trump calling Rubio a clown. No where will she mention that Rubio belittled Trump yesterday and basically called him a know-nothing idiot.
Trump talks like a human. Cruz talks like a robot. With Cruz, each line is rehearsed, and he waits for a round of applause after EACH AND EVERY sentence. That’s BORING!

That was pretty gutsy on Trump's part. That said, I am sure that Trump had watched Rubio's speech and made a premeditated decision to blast him.
I think the crowd swung back to him after booing him.
I'm thinking that might have knocked Rubio off his high of the day...but I don't think it did Trump any damage.
One thing you have to say about Trump, he ain't afraid to fight.

Trump rambles. Cruz is more coherent. But I come from same type of entrepreneur background as Trump (obviously not so successful), so I don’t think he is crazy, unless it is like a fox. We’ll see how it all shakes out. My big wish is that Bush/Christie/RubioKasich/Graham et. al. flame out.
In my opinion Trumps pros far outweigh his cons.
Who is more presidential? the man Trump or the boy Rubio?
Other than Cruz and maybe Carson who else is there but Trumpster for the win.
A very religious non tv watching friend of mine saw Cruz talk for the first time in one of the debates. He said Cruz reminded him of an evangelist preacher. Not in a bad way but I guess he meant how polished he was with lots of rehearsed emotion.

Cruz’s worst moments are when he puts on that “intensity” thing and his voice gets hoarse. It’s phony.
Rubio is the white version of Obama. Running for president so he totally ignores his job in the senate. And what’s really aggravating is how he thinks he’s the second coming of George Marshall on foreign affairs and Trump is an amateur on the military and global threats. We hell this can be said of any governor who has ever been elected, and any senator or congressman, who has not sat on the Armed Services Committee for the last few years, like Rubio has. But he’s been hitting the talk shows for a week now calling out Trump, and no one else on foreign affairs. Why does Trump have 30% in the polls and Rubio Amnesty in single digits in the majority of polls? Maybe little Marco should start asking himself that.
McCain and Romney both followed this strategy: I am going to say so many nice things about Obama that voters will say: “Gee, this guy McCain/Romney must be a wonderful person, to say so many nice things about Obama. I’m voting for McCain/Romney!”
