slamophobia due to his temporary detention by police as a result of bringing what he described as an innocent clock that he claims he "invented" to school, reveals more details of what actually happened.
Based upon previous reports, he showed his "invention" to an engineering teacher in the morning. Who subsequently warned him that the device looked suspicious and not to show it to anybody else. Apparently rather than heed his warning, according to reports ,he then showed his 'invention" to teachers in the next six classes who voiced similar concerns to him. In the sixth period he apparently, without the English teachers knowledge plugged the device into the wall with the intent to set off the timer on the device.

You are correct, and it was probably due to the ethnicity of the student. Political correctness. No one wanted to be accused of profiling. It is better for half the students to die than for that to even be thought of.

The teacher would have (and should have) reported it no matter what the color or religion of the kid in question. And Ahmed and his family know this perfectly well.
Why is it?
A normal White kid is eating a poptart, and sees that it vaguely resembles the outline of a gun. He then plays with it as if it were a gun. The school goes insane with “zero tolerance”.
A kid with a muslim name does the equivalent with a contraption, and suddenly the entire country goes insane. Just because the kid is a specially-privileged member of America’s latest victim group, it’s not “zero tolerance” any more, it’s “islamophobia.”
The country is in a state of collective terminal insanity.
And Obama invited him the the WH before knowing the facts, but what else would you expect from him?

It was obvious on day 1 that he did it. The electric clock didnt plug itself in. It didnt set it’s own alarm to go off in class. He did it for a reason. And of course our ——— President treats him like a hero. Talk about affirmative action, a muslim kid who can take a clock apart and screw it into a case is hailed as a great inventor. At least he didnt try to fly it into a building.
